  • Anonymous Dec 21, 2007

I have a 10' Citizen tv. model#JCTV1582 that will not turn on. Their's power in the plug from the tv., but no power in the tv.

  • linbert Dec 21, 2007

I have a 12 year old Citizen 12' tv.Model# JCTV1582. Their's no power when I turn it on. I've tried using the remote and I've tried turning it on by pushing the power button manually. Nothing happens. We tested the power cord from the tv. and it has power. If the problem is something simple @ inexpensive, we'll fix it. If not, it's to old. Before this happened, it was working great with a clear picture and good colours.

If you're NOT still under warrantee you should at least open the TV and look for a blown fuse near where the power cable enters the set. A lot of times you can buy replacement fuses at a local electronic or hardware store and they're easy to replace. Check the fuse. If it is blown, it will be obvious and make sure that the set is unplugged before replacing it. If it blows again, or if it is not blown, your problem is probably in the 'X' volt regulator and you will need professional help with the repairs. good luck!

My Panasonic TV won't turn on green light is flashing

If the green light is flashing on your Panasonic TV and it won't turn on, it usually indicates that there is a problem with the TV's power supply. Here are some troubleshooting steps you can try:

Unplug the TV from the power outlet and wait for a few minutes before plugging it back in. This will allow the TV to reset.

Check the power cord and make sure it is securely plugged into the TV and the power outlet. If the cord is damaged, replace it.

Check the power outlet by plugging in another device to see if it works. If the outlet is not working, try plugging the TV into a different outlet.

If the above steps do not work, you may need to contact a professional technician to diagnose and repair the TV. It could be an issue with the power supply or other internal components.

I hope these steps help you resolve the issue with your Panasonic TV.

Tv in bedroom not working but tv in living room working any suggestions

I am assuming it does not turn on. Did you try a different outlet that you know is working? If you know the outlet is working and the tv does not turn on or tries to turn on but does not then I believe the tv's power board has failed. If you use a remote, is the remote working? How old is the tv?

My set is plugged into a cable box. the tv will not turn on either manually or with the remote.

Plug the power cord directly into a wall power outlet, and make sure that the standby light is lit (turn it on/off manually to see if anything changes). If there isn't any light, then it's most likely broken.
If the TV works again, being plugged into the power outlet in the wall, then the problem is with the cable box (i bet you figured that out too).

Will not come on

Check the outlet in the wall then If your TV still won't power on the next place to check is the wall outlet. Try plugging your television into a different electrical outlet to see if that fixes the problem. Or unplug the TV and plug something else into that same outlet to see if it is getting any power. If something else is working in the power outlet that your TV is plugged into then the TV is not working anymore and needs to either be repaired or buy a new TV or the outlet is having issues and needs to be fixed or the fuse could be blown and needs to be turned back on.

Can not turn on TV since power outage yesterday.

You may have to ensure that the power outlet is ok. Try the TV on another power outlet. If it does not work, the TV might need servicing.

TV won't turn back on after power cord was disconnected from unit

If power cord was jerked out of the outlet or set, make sure it wasn't damaged. If it was unplugged violently, the circuit board inside the set could be damaged. Also make sure the outlet that it is plugged into is not damaged or a switched outlet.
