I dropped the phone and here are the symptoms: 1) Phone buttons do not work. 2) Center of 5 way navigator does not work. 3) About half of the keyboard is out. I have been able to perform a soft reset. I have not been able to perform a hard reset. Does anyone have any ideas?
The best thing you can do is sending it to a professional. By opening the phone you can cause more damage? Just in case, why can't you execute the hard reset? If you don't know how, it's in the user guide -p. 171... FYI about Hard reset "...Performing a hard reset deletes all the entries in your phone. However, you can restore all previously synchronized info the next time you sync (see ?Synchronizing contacts and other information? in the user guide)..."
