Imagemixer3 Hi Ginko, really hoping you're able to help us. We've got Imagemixer3 software to go with our Panasonic camcorder. The Imagemixer3 software does not recognise our DVD writer drive. We've tried changing the drive letter and this has not worked either. Any ideas? We've also tried using Nero but we get no volume. The recorded footage plays fine with volume through windows media player, but not Nero. Have tried using media player to save to disk, but that doesn't recognise our drive either. The only way we've managed to save onto disk is by creating a data dvd but of course that won't play on our dvd player, only the computer. Any ideas of how we can fix one of these options? starting to get really frustrated that nothing seems to be working. Really appreciate your help. Emma

    Hi Ginko, thanks for your reply. From what I've read both Imagemixer and Nero have major faults and it's quite common knowledge. Is there another software compatible with Panasonic camcorders that you'd suggest before we get a new DVD burner? I'm concerned that if we get a new burner, we're still stuck with this seemingly faulty software.

Hi, sorry for late answer,

Regarding Nero, sometimes you need an update to manage sound onb certsin files compression format.
If Nero it is not the full version, it won't download updates.

Imagemixer is known to have problems with many DVD RW, try using a software like the following one to get it working: Download the shareware version of CD and DVD Drive Identify Version 1.0

If you cannot solve the problem via software you will need to buy a new DVD burner, this is not an expensive part.

Cannot copy video from JVC GZ-HD6 camcorder to DVD Recorder
If you can play the vision on your tv via an av connection you should be able to record it onto the recorder. the recorder can record anything thats being played on the tv even if the other device is connected to the tv via another av connection. try this & see if it works.

Imagemixer3 install won't take serial number when installing for Canon VIXIA HF100
Had the same problem with my HG20. My serial number had 12 numbers and two letters, and I had to omit the letters. Just enter the numbers. Hope this helps.

This info might be late for you, but I've just met similar problem. I reaised the file to be saved was too big (3,5GB) and it slows down (semms to be blocks) the system. I've split the file into smaller parts (1,5GB) and it works though still slow. I think more RAM and more powerful Proc would help more.
