Question about RCA P46920BL 46" Rear Projection Television

No Power and beeping noise in circuitry

Unit will not power on and there is a high pitch beeping noise coming from the circuitry panel. Any help would be appreciated. Sincerely, Jay

Had a 51" rca rear projection donated to myself. While off and power button pressed there was a clicking noise from the front of the unit. Rear cover was removed and it could be observed that the hv splitter had a crack in the casing and the power was arcing out of the splitter. I purchased a $72 dollar hv splitter, i read that the $20-$30 dollar one would break within a year, and the unit powered up no problems.

High pitched noise/beep on emachine e440 laptop
In Windows 7 ,Try the Power Options in Control Panel. Set to High Performance, select Change Plan settings, set Sleep to never, select Advanced Power settings, scroll through the Advanced Power settings, set Sleep and Hibernate to Never and Power Buttons and Lid to Shut down. Always shut down and unplug the Laptop when not in use to prevent damage due to a power surge and a possible Fire hazard IF the battery malfunctions. Not to mention unnecessary wear on the components.

High pitch frequency noise coming from rear of TV and is very annoying to listen too. It is a constant noise and is more apparent when there is more black color on screen.
High pitch sound on LC-42D62 is reproduced by switching transformers on power supply board. To correct this problem, you will need to remove power supply unit from the TV, spray all transformers with SILICONE CONFORMAL COATING. Let it dry for 12Hrs. Then install power supply unit back.

High pitch sound coming from circuit board, cannot
First, you will want to isolate the problem. Is it feedback from an AC outlet you have it plugged into? Is it a recent noise that just started with no changes to Tv or its environment, then you may want to consider that a circuit is going and decide if it is worth repairing, You should find that type of fix at a shop for under $100

High pitched noise red light blinking
A high pitch noise comes normally from blown capacitors from the motherboard or the power supply. But mostly high pitch noise comes from power supplies.

You could have to open up the power supply to see them.

Verify if it is the case and replace the faulty part.

Power pack beeping, no lights turning on
Unfortunately your laptop is suffering from hardware failure. You may try removing the battery and using only the power cord.If this solves the problem then you either have a defective battery or bad power circuitry on your laptop. Aside from that if its still under warranty sending it to Toshiba for repairs will be your safest and cheapest option.

High pitched noise
The power supply is starting to fail on your LCD. The noise you hear is because the circuit is trying to provide the proper power to the rest of the circuitry and is forcing itself.
The noise does increase if you tune to an HD channel because of more demand for power for a brighter picture.

High pitch noise
Hello there, You have to specify where the noise is coming from. Is it coming from the speaker or from the back of the unit. SMPS power supply powering your unit create this kind of noise when some capacitor gone out of their value.

My TV shut off and will not come on
This is an issue with one of your power supplys wether it be high voltage horizontal power supply or the reg power supply. The beeping noise is letting you know that it has some power but not enough to start the high voltage needed to create the picture on your tube. I would seek professional help for this issue.

Vizio V585-H11 blinks white screen Woke up one day to our Vizio V585-H11 not working. When powered on, it blinks white and black over and over forever. The audio works fine. Have gone through all of the standard options of troubleshooting to no avail (factory hard reset included). I even replaced the TCon board. I know nothing about TVs but read somewhere that most problems are solved by changing the TCon board. Not in this instance. Any ideas? The lights and everything seem to work and it has power. All connections seem fine. Am I down to a mainboard replacement? It literally blinks all white and all black with zero picture on the screen. Help!!!
