What are the yellow bars mean that appear down the right hand side of the screen sometimes. They don't stay there all the time, but come on and off. This has just started to happen recently. I think ther is about 10 of them. They're like little yellow bricks.

Hi lois_andr438,

These yellow bricks you see are there to tell you the signal strength. Lots of things influence signal strength, like tunnels, high buildings, no line of sight to satelites or little line of sight. You may have had settings on, that did not show them previously. The higher, the better (More bricks = good)

Nothing to fear, it is normal.

Kind Regards

JEDEMEYER1

Although the yellow drum is indicated, in the link above, please note it may not be the yellow drum if instead it is the:"laser shutter or the plastic actuator on the right side of the front door."

Shadow on Sharp Aquos LC32GA6E

Unfortunatley, they don't make TV sets as dependable as they used too because they don't want them to last. Your problem with this unit is that your panel is going out. Sharp does not supply panels because they are not cost effective to replace. I hope this helped your cause.

Keyboard does not type but screen will move on computer

Dear Friend,

Go to Star > right click on My Computer or Computer > Manage, a window will appear and just look on your left hand side to where Device Manager is and click on it. If there is a triangular icon or and attention icon on your Keyboard controller, that means that the driver for your keyboard is not installed properly. To installed, right click on the keyboard controller and click on Scan for Hardware Change and your OS will installed automatically for you.

Now, if you don't see any of the yellow or attention mark on your keyboard, it probably means that it does not work at all and needs to be replaced. If We are talking about a desktop, it will take another keyboard and done with it but, a Laptop will required knowledge and a pair of screw drivers.

Good Luck!!

The hand on the screen from the wii remote jumps all over the screen.

There are a few reasons that this would happen.

1) Make sure that you are not to far away from the sensor bar, this can lead to a week signal for the pointer!

2) Make sure that you are within the range of the sensor bar, and by this I don't mean close to the sensor bar, I mean the angle you are opposed to the sensor bar. If you are to far of an angle to the left or right of the bar, it will have a tough time reading the signal input from the Wii remote. Best to stay as close to center while you are playing as possible.

3) Double check the battery level in the remote, which you can do by pressing the "home" button. If the batteries are to week, they will not send a good signal to the sensor bar!

Hope this helps! :)

Hi, i have installed windows xp but display is not proper and text size all so i am enable to change Please suggest me if you can

To change the text size.
1) Right click on the desktop.
2) Select "Properties" from the pop-up menu.
3) Then select the "Appearance" tab.
4) In the "Font size" field select "Normal".
5) Click Apply.

To change the resolution.
1) Right click on the desktop.
2) Select "Properties" from the pop-up menu.
3) Then select the "Settings" tab.
4) Go to the "Screen Resolution" slider bar.
5.1) Sliding to the left would decrease resolution meaning less quality and larger desktop icons.
5.2) Sliding to the right would increase resolution meaning greater quality and smaller desktop icons.
6) You will have to play around with this slider bar until you find a resolution that you like.

NB: If your screen goes black after you have set a resolution then it means that your graphics card cannot handle that resolution, immediatly HOLD down the "Enter" key to cancel setting.

Please take the time to rate this solution, it's the thumbs up on the top right hand side of this solution.
Thanks.

Line down middle of the screen-resolution is different on sides

Computer parts can sit in warehouses and be on trucks for a long period of time. Unfortunately that means things get banged around. Sometimes they don't even work when they come out of the factory. I suggest exchanging the monitor for another one. It could also be your video card. Easiest way is to exchange it and it's free to exchange.

Red lines on right hand side of the screen now no picture on right hand side!

I'm not an expert, but I have determined that the vertical bars that are often red, sometimes blue ... and sometimes both ... are related to a bad control board. I've also read that a common fix is to buy a repair kit with includes the ysus, zsus and control boards ... all replaced together. My experience was that after a month or two with the 1.5" wide stripes, that you eventually loose the entire picture and have sound only. MIne comes back, but won't stay working for very long and the stripes are always there (buy used to fade and flicker sometimes). I'm planning on replacing the control board.

Thin yellow line on the right of the LCD Screen

If it's a straight line from top to bottom panel could be defective. Not much you can do as cost of panel will compare with a new monitor.

Picture slants right to left

Hope you have fixed this problem by now, if that tv is unserviced, I mean if nobody has ever opened it, it could be a problem with the positioning of your tv, just tilt the tv in different positions and find out the position in which it will show the right fit. If it is serviced, especially yoke is changed, this is rare, it could be because the position of yoke is not aligned properly.
