Have you checked to be sure the bulb isn't burned out? It could be that, a bad fuse, or a bad switch. Start by checking that you have voltage to the headlight. If you do, then change the light.
in your headlight you have side light a dipped light and a main beam normally the one bulb has your dipped light and your main beam sometimes the dipped light can go and you need to change the bulb ,even though the main beam maybe ookay
Sounds like it can be just a bad bulb but it doesn't have to be. If the car has ever been wreaked then it's possible that the wiring has been pinched somewhere near the headlight. The dimmer switch is in the steering collum and it would be effected buy turning but it's more likly to be efferted buy both lights not one There's a fuse panel near the drivers left kick panel that has the headlight fuses in it and it's possible the fuse is'nt making a good connection. With the lights on and the czr not moving you may just have to pull on the wires move the fuses and turn the steering wheell to find where the problem is. The dimmer switch should effect both lights.
There are two clips on the head light assy under the hood that you pull up and the head light comes out. you have to change the bulb in the head light because low and high beam lights are the same bulb.
open the bonet remove back of light after clearly identifying the low beam bulbs, simply pull out and replace with the correct bulb.
WARNING: do not use incorrect bulb as you then risk a more extensive electrical problem. make sure you find out the correct bulb for your car and order from a specialist.
take out the bulb and there u filments one for high beam light witch is the biggest one and the low beam is the one whit the smallest filment and if it dont go on when ur turn ur head lightsits blown and ull need to replace it
