Everytime I boot my computer a message comes on saying: SolutionCenter.msi is missing and this will not allow program to start; download program. Where do I get a free copy of SolutionCenter.msi?

First you need to tell us which web browser used. And then check whether if Java is already in the Add/Remove list.

Since you have AVG Internet Security 8.0 , there is no need to install Norton now.

Also check whether you have Flash plugin and active X installed on your PC.

Regarding the missing "solutioncenter.msi", try re-installing the software that came with your printer or all-in-one. This may require removing the printer software first. This answer was posted on one of the HP forums.

In the future, it will help if you include the model number of your computer and printer.

Copy and paste this address into your browser, download and install the Windows install cleanup tool. Open it up after installation and look for anything labled solution center and remove it. Be very careful not to remove anything else, restart your computer and the issue should be resolved, at least it worked for me.

Blue screen may come in different causes:
1. Due to a corrupted Operating system, in this case you need to boot your bootable OS CD and try re-installing again.

2. Due to a hardware problem (i.e CD rom, memory, or hard disk). In this case try to re-seat them back and try if it can boot normally.

Put the Cd in the computer that you got with the printer When that error comes up click on browse and go to My computer>Cd Drive (Which has Hp Cd)>Setup>Solution Center Click on the file which is Solutioncenter.msi (i think you would see only one icon) Click on ok and it would install it and then restart your computer
If you don't have the CD download the software from the website of hp Make a folder name 'Hp' on the desktop When you will click on the file that you downloaded It would ask you where you want to extract So select the folder Hp that we made on the desktop and click on extract and when you get that error message, click on browse, select the location Desktop>Hp>7z...>setup>Solution center and select solutioncenter.msi If it doesn't fix the issue You may try to uninstall solution center and reinstall it And lets up know if that doesn't work because then we will have to follow some advance troubleshooting and also let us know which operating system (Windows) are you using

You can locate the Solution Center.msi under the printer software CD
the path is CD\Setup\Solutioncenter\solutioncenter.msi

When it ask you to locate the msi file and if you are not able to locate it from CD, my suggestion would be to uninstall the software as it may be outdated and download the latest software and install it

Choose the operating system of your PC and under DRIVERS section, download the FULL FEATURE SOFTWARE

try uninstalling a few unnecessary programs then click start run type cmd then type chkdsk/f which will automatically fix any corrupt files on your hard drive then defragment your hard drive
then you should replace all leads that are attached to your hard drive including the ones from your motherboard

HP J6480 error message insert 'solution center disk'

When you get this error message again, insert the installation disc you used for the printer set-up. Then, click on "browse" and go to D:\Setup\SolutionCenter (D: denotes the drive letter of your DVD drive), and you'll find solutioncenter.msi there. Select it, and then click on "OK" ...it should then repair the installation and the issue should be resolved.
