You are having a heat problem caused by dust build up. You need to get some canned air and blast it out from the front and right side. Just stick the little straw into a bunch of random holes and let it rip. 80-90% of the dust will come out the back and help you out. Also, make sure you do not have it in an enclosed area on an entertainment center shelf. If for some reason the PS3 dies, call up Sony and get it replaced. Hope this helps. I am having the same problem with my 40 GB PS3. The system only seems to freeze when I play Madden 2009. Could there be an issue with the game itself? I purchased it the first day that it came out. Please Advise. Thanks.
