Question about GE Slim Spacemaker 7-5295 CD Shelf System
Oh my god, I have had this problem for so long and had lost the manual. It was driving me so crazy....every night at 11:59!! I finally plugged it into a timer that turns the machine off at 11:55, then turns it back on in the early morning. I will try your method. I really hope it works! J

How to set the time on the clock
Posted on Aug 11, 2008
Try "playing" with the CountdownTimer feature: Setting the CountdownTimer 1. Press TIMER ON/OFF to enter timer setting mode. The red TIMER icon will flash on the display. 2. To select countdown time, use the TRK (SEARCH?TUNE) / buttons to select the correct time. Press and hold to fast forward or fast reverse countdown time. 3. Press TIMER ON/OFF again to activate the timer. The unit will beep twice to indicate countdown has started. The red TIMER icon will remain lit during countdown. 4. Press TIMER ON/OFF to turn timer off at any time or after it has sounded. good luck

The unit has 2 alarms (alarm 1 and 2). They can be used
together or independently. Alarms 1 and 2 have different
sounds so that you can differentiate them. The alarm will
sound for 1 minute unless it is disabled.
To set the alarm:
Navigate to "Set Alarm" setting mode as shown in the
Changing Settings section. The order of the settings is;
alarm 1 or 2, hour and minute.
To enable or disable the alarm:
• Press MENU until you reach alarm 1 or 2 display.
• Press [UP] or [DOWN] button to enable or disable the
alarm. "-:--" means disabled.
OK.

I can not find any alarm setting on this model. Not on unit or in operators manual.
Just started setting off an alarm at 11:59pm every evening. Have to push OFF button to stop.
Has anyone found a solution??
Thanks

OK
Figured it out. I was able to recreate alarm by setting clock to 1159pm and at 1200am, alarm wen off. I removed the backup batteries, unplugged for about 5 min. Plugged in and reset clock and installed batteries. Tried to recreate again and alarm did not go off.
Try it
