All telescopes have very small fields of view-- it must be pointed directly at the object in the sky or you will not see anything. Simply put the eyepiece with the largest number written on it into the focuser-- then during the day time practice focusing on a distant object like a building or telephone pole.

The moon should be your first target at night.

To be honest your table-top telescope is going to be more like a moon telescope. Keep in mind that as you look at the moon it will move quite swiftly out of view. Unless you take it out of the city where lights, trees and buildings don't get in the way, the only thing you will be able to see in detail will be the moon. I agree with Joe to practice focusing. Have you looked at the details of leaves in the treetops? There's nothing like seeing the mountains and craters of the full moon on a clear night. good luck.

I have a Bushnell Voyager telescope and can't see anything thru it at night!

Did you set it up according to the provided instructions?
Do you have a low power eyepiece inserted at the viewing end?
Have you aimed the telescope at the moon as a basic test of
visibility?
If your telescope is not properly aimed at the target (a star or a planet, or other object in the night sky) then you will see nothing.
If the power of your eyepiece is too large and your telescope aim is
not "dead on", then you will see nothing.
Have you tried using the scope in the daytime? Do you see anything?
Aim at a specific object, or section of an object, like the top of a lamp-post about a block or two away, and see if you can focus on
it the eyepiece.
You really need someone at your side who has experience in using
astronomical telescopes. That would be the quickest way to solve
any problems you have.
Unless your question is very specific, and unless you provide as
much detail as possible about your problem, it will be difficult for
anyone to provide you with speecific answers that will help you
solve your problem.

I was given a barska 40070 i was assembling it then i came across the barlow lens i tried putting it on my telescope i did but then i went outside i had aligned everything prior to it I looke into the...

A barlow doubles the magnification of the eyepiece and halves the field of view so it it very hard to center an object. Use the lowest power eyepiece (highest number) first. Center the object in the eyepiece, then you can insert the barlow between the scope and the eyepiece. You will be surprised how far off from center you are.

I am having trouble seeing anything out of my telescope. I have repeated all of the steps.

Try focusing it towards the moon first(you wont miss it) then if you can mark that on your focusing knob(I taped mine with a masking tape). Then use your spotting or pointer scope(I'm sure most telescope comes with it, usually attached on top of the scope)to a faint object or if you have a star map you can locate to where mars is in the night you are observing.During daytime do focus it on an object you are familiar with on a not so far distance first then do it on a farther objects after that.

How do I use the ng76az telescope

First you realize that you bought a $50 telescope! These are really toy telescopes that are not suitable for Astronomy.

We really cannot teach you how to be an amateur astronomer. Objects in the night sky are very tiny, the scope must be pointed directly at them to see anything.

Put the eyepiece with the largest number written on it into the telescope focuser. Go outside during the day time and practice focusing on a distant object. The moon should be your first target at night.

I can't seem to see a darn thing , the lens cap is removed and lenses installed but i couldn't see anything last night

Telescopes have a VERY small field of view. You must be pointed directly at the object. Why not practice focusing during the day time on a distant object, and then try for a large target like the moon at night.

Can't get the telescope to focus on anything.

First here are the manuals for all the Bushnell telescopes-- which you need to read cover to cover--

http://www.opticsplanet.net/bushnell-warranty.html

Now put the eyepiece with the LARGEST number written on it into the telescope-- this will give you the LOWEST magnification. Go outside during the day and practice focusing on a distant land object-- the moon should be your first target at night.
