Hi there, my son managed to get ahold of my iphone3 and due to me having a password on it he has managed to disable my iphone3, due to entering incorrect password a number of times. The password I initially set up is not working now? Could you please advise me how I can fix this. Many thanks, Melody

Plug it into iTunes and follow the instructions on how to reset the phone. No need to take it to apple, they will do the same thing. From--Genius Bar Tech

If you have the original computer it was synced to, you can plug it in and it should allow you more chances to try password. If not known, you will have to restore it using that computer. Shut down iPod, with iTunes on and cable plugged into computer, WHILE HOLDING THE HOME BUTTON DOWN, plug in cable into your iPod .... it will turn on, keep holding the home button for 10 seconds and then it will take you to the restore screen. iCloud password will be required if iCloud was loaded.
Yeah, this definitely seems like something you'll need to take the phone to a specialist for. If you have apple care for the device, definitely take it to Apple directly. If you don't have apple care, there should be local technicians that repair Apple devices. I would just do a google search of the local area.
Hi there!
If your iPod touch is disabled due to too many unsuccessful attempts to enter the password, you can unlock it by connecting it to the last computer you used to sync it. Hope this helps.
First check that you are entering the correct user name and password by ensuring that you do not have CAPS LOCK or more specifically NUMS LOCK (trick: also enter the password in the username field to check entry). Also ensure that you do not have any sticky keys due to food particles or spilt drinks!
If you still think that you have entered the correct information, then your facebook name/password has been disabled due to you/someone else trying to enter the wrong details too many times: you will need to get your password reset by using the'Forgotten your password?' facility.
You don't need to pay acer the 100usd to get the password removed,
one thing you can try first, is to disable the elock service from
start -> run -> type in services.msc
look for elock service right click properties startup type disabled and stop the service, on some elocks this is enought to stop it from working. but it debends I can fix this and I have done it many times now..
