Hi! I hope you can help! I cannot find the instruction manual, and the front of the DVD does not show which type of DVD's the player will or won't play, i.e. DVD+R or DVD-R. I have bought some DVD+R and have recorded a video onto it from our cam corder. The DVD will play back on my laptop, but when I put it into the DVD player, it says "reading" and then nothing.....any idea's or advise gratefully received!!

SOURCE: Jvc xv-s302 only plays black and white
Look at the back of the DVD player it should have a NTSC & PAL switch ,but remember to switch off the dvd player after you change it over to NTSC or PAL
