Hi I'm having a problem with my Nintendo 64, it won't play the game. I just recently bought Super Mario 64 at a yard sale, and when i got home it doesn't work. I unplug and plug everything, that's not the problem. I used a dust spray to remove the dust from the game cartridge and the system, nothing is happening. It is on the channel i set it up as in my television. And when i turn it on with and without the game the screen goes black and makes a little fuzz noise. Could it be my Nintendo 64 console, because i had it for 6 months, and Super Mario 64 is the only game i have. Plz plz help me!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well It might be the gamepack but the only way to test it out is to try it one a different N64 console to see if you have any luck if it works somewheres else than your N64 console has an internal problem of it 0 luck on something else than Its a fake gamepack because the old consoles will reject fake game packs then.

Well Perfect dark and excite Bike N64 version the DK64 and the ZElda games need expansion packs because of their higher graphics and mega byte qualities to work. But mario kari64 mario 64 and jamesbond goldeneye and mario tennis and super smash bros dont need an expansionpack then.

I recently bought 'Mario Paint' for my Nintendo Super NES. The picture and audio work fine for it.. but when I use the controller it wont work, but the controllers work for every other game I have....
I think that you need a mose for it to work not a controller then.

There are several places online to get classic games. One of my reliable hotspots is eBay.
You could always check out yard sales in your area. You would be amazed at the games I have found going that route.

There are many sites that offer roms from different game systems available online. Not sure if posting links directly to them is a no no here, so I would say to check out your favorite web search engine.

How to download super mario 64
You can download a Super Mario 64 rom and a Nintendo 64 emulator and you will be able to play this game on your computer. Click on the link below.

  1. On the site, click one of the hyperlinks to download an emulator, I recommend Project 64 v1.6
  2. Click Super Mario 64 to download the rom (it should be under "Top 20 Most Popular N64 ROMS")
  3. Install Project 64 and then open it.
  4. On the Project 64 window, choose "File" > "Open Rom" and find the Super Mario 64 rom that you downloaded, double click it. And that's it! The game will start and you can begin playing :)
On another note, I also recommend using a usb gamepad controller, like a MadCatz Xbox 360 GamePad controller, they work great for these kind of games.

I want to play Super64mario on my PC.
Try finding the program called PJ64 (project 64) for your pc and download that then download the v64 rom file for Super Mario 64. Hope this helps.
