Have photos and software on my i.t.flashdrive but now my laptop wont even find the flashdrive! is there any software i need to download?

Do you have computers at work? You must have friends with a Desktop computer? Give them the disc and a USB memory stick. That is the long way around the problem, but you can download it online from the Singer Website :>D

Plug your flashdrive in, when it appears on desk top or in prefs, drag your frontpage onto flashdrive icon and you'll be setn (NOTE make sure flashdrive is unlocked)

connect a laptop to the set, using the usb port contact phillips on line download the old flash to the computer save the old flash download as a file and, to the usb flashdrive connected to your laptop reload the set either with the laptop or, the flashdrive unplug the set first then: remove the flash drive

Need to download the software from the manufacturer's website to a flashdrive and thereafter transfer the same to the laptop

You may want to try to run "checkdisk" on the flashdrive. Go to My Computer and right click your flashdrive and select "properties." Select the "tools" tab. Click on "check now" in the error-checking box. Follow the directions from there.

Also, you can try to defrag the flashdrive. Go to: start>programs>accessories>system tools>disk degragmenter. Then select your flashdrive.

Additionally, you may want to consider ditching the flashdrive software and just use it as a regular flashdrive. In that case:
Go to My Computer, right click you flashdrive and select format.

If you want to recover the data on your flashdrive now, try this (free) software called "Resoration":

i have the software downloaded and then try to download the pictures and it says connection error and wont download pictures what do i do

Hi, The XP drivers for your laptop are available at the HP site http://www.hp.com/. Click on "Software & Driver Downloads" leftside near the bottom, enter your product "Pavilion dv9205us", click on "Microsoft Windows XP". May I suggest that you download them now even if still running vista and then burn to a CD or copy to a flashdrive. That way when you have downgraded to XP, the drivers are readily available.
