SOURCE: The battery is fully charged - wont turn on

Hello

Thank you for using FixYa for your problem

Always check the batteries first but if is it still giving the same fault, your camera is faulty.
It should be taken to an authorized repair centre for a repair estimate. Very few digital cameras have any user-serviceable parts.

Anything is fixable but it is more "is it cost effective"

How is NewNow Bamboo VI 15600mAh external battery ?

I think you have an extra zero in that mAh rating...Make sure to fully charge and discharge a couple of times for full capacity and longevity of the battery.

HT1000. The low battery indacator beeps every 5 min with a fully charged battery.

With a fully charged battery and assuming that the battery is good. You need to check on/off switch, I often found the switch doesn't completly close and therefore, one side of switch is B+ but on other side the voltage is low that why low battery indicator keep beeping. Do that and see if it fix.
Good luck!

My battery is fully charged but when i turn the camera on it shuts right back off

SOunds like your battery is bad. try discharing it :
  1. Place the battery in your camera until it itself turns off. In this situation, the battery is fully discharged.
  2. Take out your battery and slide it into your battery charger.
  3. Connect your charger with power to fully charge the battery. It is normal for a new battery that battery indicator shows 100% capacity in 10 to 15 minutes. Please keep charging until there is no time left for charging.
  4. Fully charged and fully discharged or "cycled" as much as five times to condition them into performing at full capacity.
Try it and see if it works? If the batteries are not rechargeable then the problem is in the cameras power supply and you need to take it in or replace it.

I cant charge mine. it keeps making a beep

Two possibilities come to mind. 1) The battery has failed and can't be charged fully (usually one cell fails and it won't charge fully). I've diagnosed this by removing the battery and trying to charge it with a variable power supply. You can try replacing the battery.
2) The UPS itself is faulty and can't charge/maintain the battery. The entire unit should be replaced.

I recommend solution 2. I had the 725VA in this consumer UPS line and when I replaced the battery, the UPS could not keep the battery charged with any load on the unit.

Check your warranty, though. The APC warranty is for 2 years on this model.

I hope this helps.

Travelmate dont switch on when i connect my adapter. even no led glows when the adapter connected. tried a new adapter still not working send me ur valuable suggestions to [email protected]

Remove your pc battery and try connecting directly to AC supply via your adapter. If you have a multimeter, you could measure your adapter's potential difference to be sure of the right voltage output ok. If nothing happened here, then you should open the pc's RAM compartment and remove the RAM(s). Re-install them properly and test one after another. You could also get a fully charged compatible battery and test alone, ie, without AC this time. If all these didn't work, then the culprit is the power unit. Good luck.

Camera eats batteries in 2 minutes!

Sorry to hear that you have problem with the camcorder. It does have few situations with not charging battery based on our repair experience. I would suggest to make sure the battery is fully charged and see how it goes. If there's any battery problem, you should send it to Sanyo for manufacture before the warranty expires. Makes sure send every thing back to Sanyo. Battery problem cannot be solved simply other than bad battery contact situation. -James

Battery problem

I'm fairly sure that means it is trickle charging as my laptop does. Don't worry too much about it. It actually helps the battery have a longer life span. Another thing it may be however is that there could be an issue with the AC adapter possibly not giving off enough voltage but still enough to keep everything going. (so within 0.05volts)

Sanyo cell phone

Have you tried putting it on a normal charger. I would do that if it still isn't holding a charge time for a new battery but if it does then it is the car charger. Hope that helps :)
