It may have power supply problem due to bad DC filter caps, bad backlights inverter circuits, and worst case will be the lamp assemblies.
You need to open it up and check the caps in the power supply section first.

Help Adding a 2nd Monitor to ALL-IN-ONE

Try using a VGA to VGA cable or a dvi to dvi cable because dvi-d and hdmi tend to lack the necessary pins to be converted to an analogue signal. A hdmi to dvi cable may also work

I have a Magnavox 15' HDTV monitor and it won't turn on, when I push the on switch on it turns green and a split second later it turns yellow. whats wrong?

This is typical when there is no communication with video card. Test on another PC. Re-seat video card on PC. Use VGA cable instead of HDMI or DVI. Make sure monitor is correct mode. Again VGA, DVI, or HDMI, depending on cable used.

I have an HP m9000z that was previously used with a DVI cable/monitor. I only have a VGA cable/monitor and the pc doesn't access the monitor.

This PC has a VGA and a DVI ports? Are both ports on the motherboard or a Video card? Or is the VGA onboard video and DVI is a Video card? You may have to disable the DVI port to get Video to vga or enable the vga port.

I have a 19 inch Gateway HD monitor. The model number is LP1925. When I boot up everything is normal. However, after about 5 minutes the screen goes black. I can't get the picture back unless I pull out...

I see that this monitor has a DVI input, in additon to the VGA input. I suggest getting a suitable cable to use the DVI input, to see if the fault replicates. If it doesn't, you have identified the problem - an issue with the analogue signal processeing circuitry in either the monitor or the computer. The monitor's auto sleep analogue circuitry, for example, may not be sensing a signal, and going to sleep. BTW, if you use a DVI-DVI cable, you avoid the video signal ever going through an analogue stage, and the image will also be purer.

Connectivity card from montior to CPU is different than other PCs, in back side of the monitor its showing to type VGA and other one DVi connector, In my CPU i dont have the slot for the DVi connector,...

DVI ==> Digital Video Input
If your monitor has both DVI and VGA inputs,
and your PC's video-card has both DVI and VGA outputs,
then buy a DVI-to-DVI cable, and use it, for a better picture.
If your monitor has both DVI and VGA inputs,
and your PC's video-card only has VGA output,
then use a VGA-to-VGA cable.
Or, purchase a video-card with DVI output,
to replace the video-card with VGA output,
and then use a DVI-to-DVI cable.

EMachine stopped displaying video (card not working, just mobo)

Hi there

I would say it's the graphics card that's failed. You might get the same beeps for faulty card as removed card....

Take it to a shop where they can test a compatible card, before they sell you one or install one for you.

Duel monitor

Which connector are you currently using? They should be white and blue.(hint: the blue is VGA, the white is DVI). If you're using the VGA connector on both monitors, you will need to purchase an DVI to VGA adapter. Fairly common and can be found online for less than $5 here: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814998101

Now, if you're wanting to use two DVI monitors, you'll need to buy a video card that has two DVI connectors already on it, as you cannot convert VGA to DVI.
