What AF system does the DiMAGE E500 employ? - Konica Minolta DiMAGE E500 Digital Camera

Its possisble that you battery is exhaust or stay some memory charge there? They are NiCa or Ion Lithium?

DiMAGE E500 employs Preflash-TTL metering method.

The DiMAGE E323 employs multi-segments (256-segments) metering.

The DiMAGE E-223 uses Video AF to focus. Camera-to-Subject distance is calculated based on CCD output where the subject image is captured (TTL CCD AF system).

The DiMAGE E201 uses Video Auto Focus. Camera-to-Subject distance is calculated based on CCD output where the subject image is captured (TTL CCD AF system).

AF single or AF continuous can be selected. In AF single mode, focus is calculated and set when the shutter-release button is pressed partway down. This mode is mainly useful for a stationary subject. In AF continuous mode, camera continues to focus on a moving subject even when the shutter-release button is pressed partway down. It is convenient to capture the moving subject. Full Time AF that continues focusing without pressing the shutter-release button can be used in both AF modes.
