My remote is locked and not working, AC is working fine. and on the display of remote a key symbole is blinking when I press any button, so how do I sole my problem, my number is 9958488770 and email [email protected]

the key pad is locked. After setting it, the LOCK icon will be displayed on LCD to
indicate that key pad has been locked and all the keys are disabled. At that case,
the remote won't send out any codes. The LOCK icon on the LCD flash 3 times,
0.5 seconds for ON, 0.5 seconds for OFF, and press & hold UP & DOWN keys for
3 seconds, the remote is un-locked.

its very simple.just remove the batteries and wait for a while. then put the batteries back and the remote should return to its normal state......

this problem arises when u disturbe the remote settings. to make it operate again use the following procedure
1.on the power from stablizer
2.press the button in remote with 'key' sign once
3.now adjust the number displayed in remote 9 99 to 3 25 by using 'down '(temp adjustment button) key.
4.press again the button with 'key' sign
5.now ur ac is reinstate

There is a button marked "C.LOCK" (short for child lock) on the remote (near the bottom of the remote). Press that button to unlock the player. If it works, the orange key-symbol in the display should disappear.

The Key symbol means the lock has been activated some how.

On most bosch of your class this is how you work it on & off.

Here`s how to deactivate it...

1) Press the "menu" button until you see "CHILD LOCK :ON" appear in the display. ( if nothing is pressed within 10 sec.following this the menu will close and it will default to program in the display )

2) Once you see what I just mentioned in the display press the "select" button until "CHILD LOCK :OFF" appears in the display.

3) Finally by pressing the "start/pause" button the key symbol should disappear confirming you have successfully exited the child lock program.

When you reintilize the scanner, it should lose all programming and settings. Hold down the Tune/Clear button while pushing the reset button. Do not release the Tune/Clear button until the display clears and returns.

Look at the keyboard and find the button the shows the symbol for a key and a symbol for a light bulb. Press the FUNC button and then the key indicated above. The words key unlocked should appear in the display. Repeat the process to lock the keys again.

As far as the "signal" activation or de-activation goes, it should be performed before starting a load of laundry and it is as follow's... 1) Turn the program selector to any program as you would doing laundry. Add your items... 2) When you close the door the "start/pause" light flashes... 3) Press the "menu" button until the signal indicator is displayed and flashes ( a small speaker symbol ) as does the start/pause light. If no buttons are pressed within 10 seconds, the current setting will be saved. 4) Press the "select" button until the desired volume or "off" is reached/displayed. 5) Press the "start/pause" button so the program starts and the setting is saved after the cycle has completed. As for the "key" symbol, your washer has a "child lock" program and the symbol indicates it has been activated.

This is the procedure for a reprogram of the remote's from the factory service manual, if it doesn't work then u may have a receiver issue.
Use this Procedure for Vehicles with
Driver Information Center Buttons

This information is in your Owners Manual in the
Drivers Information Center Section.

1. Insert Key and turn to ON position so you can access Driver Information Center

2. Press the vehicle information button until
PRESS TO RELEARN REMOTE KEY displays

3. Press the set/reset button until
REMOTE KEY LEARNING ACTIVE displays

4. Press and hold the lock and unlock buttons on the first keyless remote at the same
time for approximatley 15 seconds. A chime will sound indicating that the remote is
programmed.

5. To program additional remotes at this time repeat step 3.
This vehicle can have a maximum of eight remotes programmed.
6. To exit programming mode turn key off and remove key.
Test remote(s).


Use this Procedure for Vehicles without
Drivers Information Center Buttons

To access this display, the vehicle must be in Park (P) with key in the on position (as far
as you can go without cranking engine)

1. Press the trip odometer reset stem until RELEARN REMOTE KEY displays.
2. Press and hold the trip odometer reset stem for three seconds.
The message REMOTE KEY LEARNING ACTIVE will display
3. Press and hold the lock and unlock buttons on the first keyless remote at the same
time for approximately 15 seconds. A chime will sound indicating that the remote is
programmed.
4. To program additional remotes at this time repeat step 3.
This vehicle can have a maximum of eight remotes programmed.
5. To exit programming mode turn key off and remove key.
Test remote(s).
