My Philips Matchline TV won't switch on properly. When I press the on button the light goes red and keeps flashing red. I can not turn it on with the remote either. Although it has been coming on intermittently and it sounds like it is trying to click though the normal start process. Any ideas?

Turn the TV on From main supply: Ensure that the main supply is turned on. A blue indicator light on the front of the TV lights up. When the TV is turned on by the main supply, the blue indicator light will blink for 45 seconds. This is the lamp's start-up period. When the light goes off, press the POWER button on the remote control or power switch. Press POWER to turn on the TV.
