Yes, the DiMAGE E201 has video output. The DiMAGE E201 can be set to either NTSC or PAL, depending on the broadcast system used.

No picture on LCD say turn off camera try again .but all function are properly in working position

If you're trying to get your laptop onto your tv, often you need to change the video output. For example, i have a dell inspiron, so i need to hold down the 'Fn' button, then F8(CRT/LCD) to change the output.

Remote is not functional. Changed battery. Will not work.

Are you sure it's the remote control? Test the remote with a digital camera - point the remote to the lens of the camera and see if it outputs IFR light. If you see light on the display of the camera, then the remote is good.

Can u use vivi cam 3705 as a web cam

No. It's not designed for that function and so completely lacks the hardware required to output a live video feed. Almost all other digital cameras have the same limitation.

No sound with video

1. Make sure your comera doesn't have the MUTE function selected.
2. Check the output volume on the camera.
3. If you've offloaded the video, and there's not audio with it, reset your camera to the default seeting (check in your manual) and you should gain your audio back.

The problem of my camera is, when i take picture the output is very blured but when i use the video the output is okay. Please help to solve this one. thanks

The problem with most digital cameras is that there is a slight delay between when you press the shutter and when the picture is actually taken. The only real solution is to continue hold the camera steady for a second or two after you think you've taken the picture. You can check the camera is ok by placing it on a firm, steady surface and using the self timer to take a picture. This picture should turn out ok. The reason that video looks ok is that as it's a moving picture slight movements by you are constantly disguised.

Use a digital camera like a webcam

step 1 Check the manual of your digital camera to see if it can be used as a webcam. Many digital cameras have this functionality and even come with webcam software. If your camera didn't come with webcam software, use a third party web cam application such as SarmSoft WebCam. Find SarmSoft WebCam at ShareUp.com.
Step 2 Plug your digital camera's power adapter into the camera. Some won't function as a webcam unless they are plugged into A/C power. Even if your digital camera functions as a webcam while on batteries, A/C power saves your batteries and prevents your camera from shutting off in the middle of a broadcast.
Step 3 Connect a video cable into your digital camera's video "out" port. Your camera likely came with a cable made for connecting it to a to a video source. Plug the other end of the video cable into your video card's video "in" port.
Step 4 Set up your camera as close to your monitor as possible. This allows better face to face communication.
Step 5 Position yourself about 2 to 3 feet away from your digital camera. Most digital camera's focus best at this distance when used as a webcam.
Step 6 Use a separate microphone if your digital camera doesn't transmit sound when used as a webcam. Plug the microphone into the microphone jack of your sound card
