SOURCE: Fabric conditioner drawer

Try cleaning inside the the machine where the soap dispenser drawer fits into. Sometimes this builds up with lots of soap and fabric conditioner residue and stops the conditioner from going through.
Take the drawer back out and look inside where it goes to see if there is a build up of soap etc...
hope this helps

Fabric tray does not clear

Usually means soap dispensing drawer needs to be cleaned, as conditioner is dispensed by syphoning system, Take out soap detergent drawer, clean thoroughly in warm water, make sure drain hole in conditioner compartment is clear.

Water staying in the conditioner tray. Machine works fine, washing powder goes into the machine, fabric conditioner not dispensing and water left in the tray at end of wash

You dont say which machine you have, but a lot of conditioner trays work by siphon action.

If at one end of the conditioner tray there is what looks like a closed off tube sticking up, this is the siphon. To remove it, it should just pull off. Check the tube is clean inside and out with no residues left from the conditioner. Also check the tube sticking up from the base of the conditioner tray - this should also be nice and clean, and should be clear of any obstructions. May be worth poking something like a cocktail stick down it just to make sure it's clear. Then push the closed off tube back on. The siphon action can be checked by pouring water into the conditroner tray - as the tray gets close to full the siphon action should kick in and then empy the tray.

Hope this is of some help.

Tray for fabric conditioner does not clear

take the tray out and give the inside of the drawer and the machine a good clean, ours was full of gunk and I cleaned it out with a baby's bottle brush in all the holes and grooves and that sorted it.

Good Luck

Fabric conditioner stays in the dispenser tray

the holes above the fabric softener tray that shower into it may be blocked. use an upturned washing up brush to scrub them with a little fairy liquid and see if that works, it does for me. also could be a water pressure issue.

My bosch classix washing machine is not dispensing the fabric conditioner properly. Often the fabric conditioner is left in the dispenser unused, just now it went in with the washing powder. It has...

The water going in to the dispenser is blocked by sludge.
Remove the dipenser tray.
Look up inside the tray hole, at the 'roof' of the tray hole, and there are four holes (square on my machine) where the water flows in - in the middle of the 'roof'. These will be blocked with sludge. Try to poke them clear with a nylon tie or plastic coated wire - should go in a few inches.
It worked for me.
