hi,
check ur tv for any dry soldering of component leads in the power supply and horizontal output side. also replace the electrolytic capacitor in the B+ supply rail.

u have to check the picture tube base board also for any dry soldering of components, if so the first mentioned complaint ( orange screen) will erase.

Have Sony KV-34HS420 with no picture or sound. Timer/Stand By light flashes 7 times with pause in between. What is the likely problem and cost to repair?

Hold hair dryer to back right side on high heat for a couple of seconds while you hit the power button several times. It only took 2 times for my set to power on. Good Luck!

Sony WEGA KV-34HS420 television's colors all went to blue....trying to manually adjust this simply made them turn red and stay there. HELP!?!?!!

there are two possibilities for such type of a problem
the first one is the control ic which produces those three colours.
the second one is the crt tube if its about to finish such faults do come.
