Question about Tricity Bendix 24 in. DH102 Free-standing Dishwasher

1 Answer

Hello my tricity bendix dishwasher won't take in water, it will pump it out and when I turned water off at the mains and disconnected the water pipe and put it in a bucket turned mains back on the water rushed out!! So the problem is somewhere in the dishwasher itself.. If any of that made sense please respond with a possible solution, I need my dishwasher :) many thanks Dawn

Hi

When the Dishwasher won't fill you'll need to check for the water inlet hose, the water inlet valve and the float switch assembly. When the water fills your dishwasher, a float rises along with it. As the float reaches a certain threshold level, it shuts off the flow of water, thereby preventing a leak. Sometimes the float can get stuck in the wrong position in your dishwasher, and it can prevent your dishwasher from filling. Sometimes it can happen due to float valve and on other occasions due to float switch. Inspect the water hose coming to the dishwasher for any blockages. If the hose is not clogged then check the water inlet valve for any clogs, if the water will not even fill for few seconds then certainly the water inlet valve is bad and should be replaced. You can also use a multimeter to check continuity on inlet valve. If you don't get any value on the multimeter then you'll need to replace the water inlet valve assembly. However, if the valve is fine then the float switch assembly should be replaced. Hope this helps... Please post back if you need more information.

Washer motor control board failure is the likely problem, also check all connectors for signs of burning. Also test the washer motor.

Check the fitting where the dishwasher hose connects to the drain. If it drains when disconnected, it is either kinking the hose when you put it back in, or the drain is plugged at the connection.

Bendix dishwasher not pumping out water

hello,

what this indicate is that there are been a blockage on the water drainage,
what you are to do to fix up this problem is to remove the material in the washer if any then bale out the water with small bole or bucket if any then trace the water drainage down to the out flow you will fine some dirt or cloth that have cost the blockage remove it then the problem is solve .
With this your washer will be able to pump out water again as expected.

thank you

No power, tripping circuit breaker, loud pop inside when wash cycle starts.

Hello,

Sounds like the main wash pump has burnt out are there any leaks under unit.It could also be the heater.but the loud pop sounds more like the wash pump.

Hope this helped.

Tricity bendix keeps turning off !!

assuming you still have power to machine, it could be that the main circulating pump has a thermal overload in it which is tripping off. can you give me more detail?
