The update process failed because the updated GWES.EXE file is in use by the operating system. To correct the situation: 1. Double Tap "OK" to clear the error message. 2. Double Tap "OK" to complete the update process. 3. Double Tap "My Computer". 4. Double Tap "Program File" folder. 5. Single Tap "GWES" ICON while holding down the "ALT" key. 6. Single Tap "Delete". 7. Single Tap "Yes". 8. Perform a "Soft" reset.

This usually happens when the Xbox does not have enough space to save the update to in order to install it. Make sure you clear out enough space so you are able to properly install the update.

USB port is busy error message

You don't because the magellan is having internal memory problems with corrupt files. You may try to update the firmware again but it probably will not work. Magellan Repairs are available at the jungleghost.com site.

NUVI 760 2010 MAP UPDATE ERROR CODE 2

The easiest solution is to put an sd card (8gb or less) into the sd slot. Have Garmin Express install to the sd card.

You can also do a hard reset and try to install to the device itself. A hard reset restores the files to factory default, so it may free up enough space.

Setup was unable to verify drive C:.

hi ;
this sems to be a memory problem;
in bios , try to decrease the memory for your card to resrve a memory space for the installation program,

if this does not work , it might be your VGA card.

Error Contacting Update web service

I don't know what program you're using, but usually when you get the message "An error message cannot be displayed because an optional resource assembly containing it cannot be found", it is because the program is using the .net compact framework but the file System_SR_ENU_wm.cab has not bee installed on the device yet. That .cab installs the resource file that is missing. Once it is installed on the device, you'll see a better error message than the one you're seeing now.
