Change the angle of the unit and make sure that there is nothing interfering with your signal. Try removing the LCD protection cover.

How to transfer photos from siemens cl75 to laptop

Use Ir Da (Infrared) function (old fashioned blue tooth) You might have this function on older computers otherwise you can get an Ir Da / Infrared dongle for about 10 pounds. You go to the photo, options, send and then 'send by IrDa'. You have to do it photo by photo and have phone near computer/dongle - but it worked for me.

How to install games to motorola c650

hi there,

You can download ganes to you phone through different methods like: Over-the-Air (OTA), Infrared (IR), Bluetooth and Cable

1. For uploading through OTA: make sure your wap is well configured and working (each operator has different settings). Enter the .jad url of the game (URL of jad can be found below), then the phone will automatically download the .jad file. After the .jad file is downloaded you will be prompted to confirm the downloading of the .jar file. If you press yes then you can download the file and install the game. Volia! In general you should make sure that the .jar file will fit on your phone. Some devices like Nokia Series 40 (MIDP1) limit the .jar size to 64k, others will limit it to under 100k. Also most devices have a low limitation on the size of all games (midlets) installed, so you should always check the available memory and in some cases remove any old unused games. We have taken the limitation of each device into consideration and there's nothing to worry about here.

2. For uploading through Infrared: First you should get an IRDA peripheral and connect it to your PC. It's usually a USB device. Connect it and install the software.
Now there are two cases:
a. either your phone supports IRDA directly and in such case it's sufficient to upload the .jar file to your phone by right clicking on the file and use 'Send to' menu. Note that you should configure IRDA properly to connect to the phone. We are using the following configuration for SigmaTel USB-IRDA: "Infrared Transiver Type": SigmaTel 4000, "Min. Turn-Around Time": 1.0ms, "Speed Enable": 115200.
b. or your phone doesn't support IRDA directly but has IR. In such case you should use your manufactorer software like Nokia PC Suite.
3. For uploading through Bluetooth: Usually this is faster and easier than Infrared. Install your Bluetooth usb device. Right click on the .jar file and select the menu 'bluetooth device' inside 'send to'. You can also pair your device with your computer to make things faster. Once the .jar file is on your phone then you can install it
4. For uploading through cable: some phones don't have neither Infrared nor bluetooth support. You can use the manufactorer cable and connect it your PC (either USB cable or com cable). In such case you should also use a dedicated software for uploading files to your device

Please use the below mentioned link to find games.

Where is irda on hp pavilion 6700??

This model does not have irda. It has an infrared sensor on the front edge below the touchpad, but that's just for a remote control device. Full specs and a service manual are available on HP's UK site, and no reference is made to any model of this series including irda.

I would like to know if I can transfer photo's from my Samsung E310 to my computor.

That model uses an IR (infrared) IrDA compliant connection. Samsung's site says the cable comes with the phone which is unusual. I didn't look too far but due to the age of the phone, it might be quite expensive, if even available anymore.

If you don't have the manual.....

Laptop s infrared device, serial cable using IrDA Protocol problem

Sound has nothing to do with infrared devices.
The yellow exclamation mark that you see under the device manager is due to drivers of the infrared device not found or is not installed properly.
There might also be a possibility that the device is not getting recognized by the computer due to corrupted drivers so the drivers of the particular needs to be installed again with the CD.
