SOURCE: Replacing Control Module

Sergio,
Did you get your problem resolved. By now I think you have found the two screws on the sides of the inter part of the door. Did replacing the module fix your problem. I have the same problem.

SOURCE: Error code 2H

The control panel needs to be replaced (indicated by the "2H" error code displayed at the start of the cycle).
BTW - The number 1 displayed at the end of the cycle indicates the cycle has timed out (i.e., it doesn't mean 1 minute remaining). Hence the continued running of the unit. Until you replace the control panel, you'll have to manually cancel the cycle at this point.

SOURCE: Bosch she44c wash cycle time keeps extending.

We have had the same problem, except the water was not getting hot either. After a ton of research there was an issue that kept popping up. There was a massive recall on many of the model and serial #s. According to the recall there was a fire risk from the control board, the brains for the machine, that sits behind the digital display. For those not "at risk" but with the water not heating and the run time increasing, the problem can still be with the control board. I removed the control board and found a burned out connection with one of the controls. I soldered it and put the machine back together. The run time has returned to much closer (down to 128 from 184) than before the fix, but still is not back down to the original 108 minutes. I've priced a new control board--about $120.

This happened right after the warranty ran out. Imagine that.

SOURCE: Takes more than 2 hours to complete a one hour

Hello,

Welcome to fixya.

**What I`m about to share applies to Almost all Electronic control B/S/H/ dishwashers. That includes Bosch, Thermador, Gaggenau and Siemens.**

Based on your description I know what the problem is, though you may not like it.

I would still start by checking your water inlet temperature, the unit must be connected to a "hot" water supply line.

Try running the hot water at your sink tap to insure the cold water is out of the lines just before you turn on the dishwasher.

That is just a suggestion out of courtesy however...

If it is what I suspect, the control, this won't make any difference but it's worth a try. If on the other hand the water is good and hot entering the machine, you likely have an issue with the control as I alluded to.

The reason your dishwasher never completes a cycle and displays "1" ( 1 is an error code for not heating ) or takes an extremely long time, is the control has detected a heating error.

Here`s the most likely reason why it has detected the error...

Even if your home water supply appears hot, it's not hot enough and must be heated by the dishwasher to insure a proper clean and dry.

The error likely lye`s within`the electronic timer/control, specifically the heater relay solder joint. ( a faulty flow switch, ntc or heater can also cause this, but not very probable ).

This is why it runs really long/forever, display`s "1" unless you "stop" it or by pressing the two buttons for "cancel".

To repair your unit It will require you to remove the control from the unit and then remove the control from it`s plastic housing and look for a burnt solder contact on the printed circuit board.

The burnt solder joint will be one of the pins from the heater relay, hence the unit runs on and on ( because it can`t heat to advance or until canceled ) trying to heat the water.

You can also enter a test to check for proper amperage via the use of an ammeter as such...

**Further to this, if you or someone you know is proficient at soldering, a lot of times it can be remedied by simply repairing the solder...although Bosch recommend`s replacing the control and I don`t pretend to speak on there behalf nor do I profess to know better. This is just my experience (it work`s) and my opinion (why buy new if one can repair ?)**

**Please disconnect the power before attempting any service to the dishwasher. If you do not feel comfortable attempting this service, call a local pro, preferably one familiar with Bosch/Thermador/Gaggenau, to service your machine.**

Hope this answer`s your question's, let me know if I can assist you further. Thank`s for visiting "fixya" for your repair inquiries.

Please take a moment and rate this solution to it's helpfulness to you and leave a testimony if you're satisfied.

Good luck.

Macmarkus :)

What is the drive cycle foor a 1993 chevy k1500 with a 305 engine.

Hi. The "Drive Cycle" isn't different for your vehicle. The ECU has to be satisfied from the information received during the road test or drive time. A true drive cycle is 24hrs. The vehicle must meet the criteria to achieve a true drive cycle. The computer will wake up and monitor all systems (Self Check) and gather information while driving at low and highway speeds. A full drive cycle would include proper engine warm up temperature, .5hr of inner city driving, .5-.75hr of highway driving and engine cool down. After the engine and transmission cool down. All the different temperature sensors should be reading the same ambient temperature. The computers shut themselves down (sleep mode). The next day you start the engine and the next drive cycle begins.

Cycle selector on normal mode. cannot operate water tempertures orsoil level light indicators on a infinityfaf

Ron kundrat,
So I understand that you are unable to operate the water temperatures and soil levels on your infinity washer, while on the normal cycle.

I suggest to give your appliance a hard reset. You will do this by either unplugging it or cutting the power off at the circuit breaker for 3-5 minutes. After the 3-5 minutes, bring power back and try to start a cycle.

If you are unable to change the water temperature and soil level settings, while in the normal cycle, I suggest to contact your local authorized technician. They will be be able to come out and diagnose the washer and see why you are unable to change the settings.

-Best Regards-

Does the furnace stays off?.
Furnace are ment to cycle on and off because of limits .If you set to 70 furnace would cycle several times before reaching that temperature.
Just make sure your filters are clean and you got proper return air flow because lack of air flow will cause furnace to shut off sooner than normal

Hello, I have the Asko W6761 and all of a sudden it doesn't run the cycle anymore. It starts normally, i.e. pumps water into it, but then it doesn't start to wash..any idea what this could be? After a few...

Hello, my W6761 becomes the same. When it happens, you can clear the problem by "soft ware reset". Following is the procedure:
1. Power it on
2. Push Start/Stop buttom 5 times
3. Push "Enter", ">", "<", "Menu" buttons (from right to left)
4. Again, push "Enter", ">", "<", "Menu" buttons
5. Wait for 30 seconds that the above soft ware cycle resets the internal status
6. Toggle the power switch
7. You need to execute above "soft ware reset" within 15 seconds

Start washing and check to see if above reset the problem.
If it does not begin to work, repeat above "soft ware reset" cycle until it begins to work.
My W6761 once needed to repeat above cycle 7 times to solve the problem.
W6761 seems to be weak at high ambient temperature.

Temperature 0 The digital display switches from normal 5 to 0. Resetting works occasionally

There is likely no problem. The temperature inside a freezer will charge incrementally during the day as the refrigerator goes through various cycles. For example, during the defrost cycle, the freezer temperature will rise significantly due to the heat from the evaporator heater. This temperature rise is temporary and should not cause a problem.

Incorrect times on wash cycles

you dont need to reset the times, all that has changed is the soil type. in example, light, regular or heavy. that is what causes the times to change.
you just need to push the options button until it shows the type of cycle you want.
also make sure you have the proper cycle selected and then look to see what other options are selected. you just have too many options turned on, so look at the controls to see what is different then you remember.

Resetting the wash cycle?

What does report "abuse mean"? Abuse is a deliberate action, and I don't see anybody abusing a machine that they paid $600 to use.

Even if it was deliberate, does that mean that the owner is not entitled to know how to reset the machine?

I have asked for help on this matter before, and I got a response that had the wrong model on it, and was therefore not helpful..

Blinking Green Light

Here's what I could find on the your error code:

A blinking clean light that flashes 7 times and cannot be reset, occurs when the electronic control does not detect a water temperature increase during the main wash. This could be an indication of a failed heating element, in line thermostat, electronic control board and/or wiring. This problem can also occur if the main wash pump becomes clogged and it not spraying sufficiently. I hope this helps you.

PS A faulty door latch can also cause this error code.
