I just got a ps3 a couple days ago and i noticed right from the start that the top half of the tv screen about is blurry on movie playback on games and blu ray movies. my tv is a new model and i am getting a bit frusterated. please help.

That is usually happens when the TV is not compatible to the PS3 because the graphics of the PS3 is very resolution.

The qualification standards of that TV is not reaching the higher resolution of PS3 even your TV is HDTV.

U freeze video games 10-20 mins in video game alot of time.Never pause or freeze any kinds of video image in Plasma tv.It very easy cause to burn in Plasma tv problems alots.

Did you ever figure out how to fix this. We simply took our system and hooked it up to a different tv and it stopped. I personally think the problem is with the HDMI cable and wether the cable and the socket are connecting.

bottom left and top right corners, the color is off almost as if a magnent is near the screen

i bought ps3 and it plays games ok i play a blueray and it had no colour.

it could be that the disc is and ordinary dvd disc and cannot stand the capability with a high def tv because i have the same problem and when 1 put a bluray disc in its fine

ok your problem is the RGB section maybe crack soldered at the RGB try to resoldered it! you seen that at the back of the picture tube they have small board attach at the neck... resoldred all small part, and transistor drivers!!!
