Greetings from New Zealand! You have not supplied much info - so we'll start from the beginning...SAFELY Remove web-cam connection - (I presume it is a USB connection?) - by R-clicking on the little icon - usally green - in the systray by the clock, & following instructions. Have you installed the web-cam "driver" software from the cd that came with the web-cam? If not then do so. Plug in web-cam USB & wait until pop-ups notify you that web-cam device is detected & ready to use. L-Click on "START" > All Programs > Web-cam program.
If this option does not work/is not available, then OPEN "My Computer" & click on web-cam icon. This should start web-cam software & you SHOULD see your smiling face on screen!
If Nothing works - then you will have to make a note of the model & contact Gateway for support.
