If you have a CRU Fuse error, you have probably purchased an after market toner cartridge. If so, take the cartridge out of the machine and at the back of the cartridge you will see a small 'dummy' fuse. Take that 'dummy' fuse out of the cartridge and your printer will work. I know, it happened to me.
This is a fuse error which is on the Cartridge, please check the cartridge very carefully, the fuse is somewhere on the edge of the cartridge/s, simply remove it and try again. You problem will be fixed.
I hope your cartridge must be similar with this one.. (click here)

Check the TONER Cartridge and Reinstall it CRU Fuse ErrorMeans : The toner cartridge is not installed correctly
You can set the machine to ignore the “[Toner Empty]” message and to continue printing incoming faxes.
Ignoring the Toner Empty Message
1 Press Menu until “Machine Setup” appears on the display. 2 Press the scroll button < or > until “Ignore Toner” appears on the bottom line and press Enter. 3 Press the Scroll button < or > to select “On” or “Off”. Select “On” to ignore the [Toner Empty] message. Select “Off” to stop printing incoming faxes when the message appears. This is the default setting. 4 Press Enter to save the selection. 5 To return to Standby mode, press Stop/Clear.
first u must change the fuse in toner cartridge,or u can take the fuse out off toner cartridge and put the programme menu # 1934 menu and going to new cartridge .
I'm guessing that it''s remanufactured? There is a small fuse on the front of the cartridge that may have not been replaced (or not installed at all). This is required to reset the toner unit - it basically blows at installation.
You can try this -it applies to another similar model, but may work for your as well to reset manually:
Press "Menu"....1934 (you may have to press "#" before the number??) display will read something like "Tech mode" Keep pressing "Menu" until displays "new cartridge" Then press "yes", or "ok" or whatever applies to reset.
Was the "Off Brand Toner" a used refill cartridge? Usually this error is caused when the drum (That statically attracts the toner to it) has worn out. This can be caused by too much light exposure, or just from overuse.
I would suggest bringing back the cartridge where you bought it from and asking them to switch it out.
Rick and Felix are discussing the fuser, not the fuse error you are getting with the your printer. The error relates to a small fuse that is on the toner cartridge which goes into the printer. I am having a similar error message after getting a replacement from Cartridge World (although this is not the first Cartridge World replacement for this printer).
After much research, one suggestion was to remove the cartridge fuse and reinsert the toner cartridge. That worked for me and the CFU Fuse Error message disappeared for me, but I am trying to find out the PURPOSE of having a fuse on the toner cartridge itself. To protect the toner cartridge? Protect the printer? Other?
CRU Fuse error equates to a problem the machine has reading the print cartridge installed in the machine. It has nothing to do with the fuser.
Suggest that you change the print cartridge.
