Re:
If nothing else works, contact one of the sellers of a used M5 on eBay, and ask for a copy of the CD. Since Toshiba isn't interested in selling the software anyway, it's hard to see how it would hurt anybody.

I have that same camera along with the installation cd, but I haven't used it in a long time. I ran across it today and tried to get some pictures off the card but I can't get it to work with this computer which has XP MCE sp3 on it. I guess I need new driver for xp but can't find where I can download it. What operation system do you have?

Hello , I am in need of software for my toshiba digital camera PDR 3330. I need to instal the pictures to my pc. can't find any software , please help......... where can I get
Hi Pat,
When charging the battery the light should definitely be red. When it turns green it's charged. I would exchange your camera for another PDR-M5 if you can. I actually had to do the same thing - noticed a big difference with the second one - including fit and finish....think that maybe Toshiba has a quality control issue. I just returned mine (second one) yesterday - was a hard decision - love the features - 3X zoom - video - speed, etc.....but got fed up with the picture quality indoors - too many out of focus - couldn't count on it. Also all pictures - in/out - tended to be dark - drab looking - always had to lighten using the software before printing. This is a $1250 camera in Canada after tax w/extra 16 meg smartmedia which you need at the minimum so there are no excuses.
Hope you have better luck with yours!
I bought this camera (Toshiba PDR-M61) for a while now & I lost the driver cd to install it onto the PC to recognize it. Can you send me the software or route me to the location on the internet that I can get the driver for this?
Regards
