I like SharkCache but lately it seems to be making things worse. whenever my LifeDrive resets I sit and wait for it to come back up - and then SharkCache causes a second reset forcing another 5 minute wait. Is this a new problem or has anyone else experienced this?
Any suggestions?

SharkCache is not stable enough.
Maybe it can lock some programs in RAM, but it have some problems on locking some programs.
It causes the data lose or unstable.
I have change into "RLock" (write by Resco), it has the same function ,but it is more stable when you use in LifeDrive.
The most important is RLock is a freeware and stable.

You may be experiecing failure of the microdrive. Those are typical of it failing or having failed.
Having said that have your tried the hard reset buy holding the 5 way down while sliding the power switch? This is slightly different than the older secure but you need the update 2 to have it. This will erase and reformat and reload the entire system a bit more thouroughly than the older secure erase.
It might get you out of the cycle which is more important.
When you plug the unit into the wall to charge, poke the reset hole in the back of it at the same time. This should reset the internal recharging mechanism in the Palm. Let it sit for a couple of hours and then see if it will come on.
get a new charger..or return it..hopfully you got extended warranty. mine did the same and it took like 20 minutes just to have enough energy to restart.
SharkCache or RLock maybe cause some reset when you use your LifeDrive.
In other word, SharkCache or RLock makes the LifeDrive unstable. It will conflict with some program you install in the LifeDrive.
Speed or Stable ? You can judge by yourself.
