Gee, I have had hp for a while.
Sometimes the drivers go nuts.
My friend had a problem similar to yours. We called for assistance.
She was told that she needed to send it back to the manufacturer. Before doing that I told her that we should "delete" the printer then re-install it.
That seemed to work out well and she has had no printing problems for over 4 months.
If you haven't already tried that, please take a moment and you may find that it will work...I hope it works out for you. Good luck! Madcatz

If it not print try restolling you cd disk driver and take a look at your inks see they are ok if it been standing for a long time then maybe your ink heads need to be cleaned

you can't.. you must have the drivers for the printer..
go to the printer manufacturers website and under the support portal you should find the drivers..
You Need to install the full feature software for the printer ; First uninstall the entire software from your computer Unplug the USB cable; Click on "Start" >>> Control panel >>> Add or Remove program >>> Select the HP printers software >>> CLick on remove to uninstall the printer software; Restart the computer ; Click on the below given link it will help you download the software :
Select your OS; Select the Full feature Driver; Click on Download ; Save to your desktop; and then run the software; Then while installation select the "Recommended" option and install it;

Please try to reset your printer to erase the present/current job that is not yet finished due to some interruption. So i recommend that if this problem occur please rest your printer by turning off and unplug all its wires then after few minutes plug it and turn it on to automatically reset its default setting and erase its job that is not finished.
