Before printing, you can choose the page setup option (either above or below the 'print' & 'preview' selection) to make sure paper size & type of paper(usually legal is default setting) selected. Also make sure the drivers for that printer is up to date. What kinds of images are you wishing to print out? Most pages have html which prevents certain images or words from being captured/printed

Your printers' app is keeping your Imac from shutting down. You have to quit the printers' app first then shutdown. Some outside vendors' apps (as Lexmark - has a function that prevents you from shutting down computer in case you have stuff printing) You can change that in your Lexmark preferences. And no it won't hurt the IMac, it's just a hassle until you change the printers' preferences.

So clearly the Macintosh sees and recognizes the printer. WIll it let you queue a document to the printer? After you do, you will see an extra icon on the Dock that represents the printer queue. Open it up and see what is happening to the printer job. If it disappears, it was sent to the printer and the Mac thinks it was printer successfully; if it isn't printed then you have either a bad printer or a bad printer driver. try to print and in the print window click the blue button on the left of the top box with hopefully two arrows this should give you the option to choose a printer, follow the prompts when the brother is connected and on and you should get there.

Do you mean "how do you make cue cards?" because printing them is the same as printing anything else. And just to be clear, what do you mean by 'cue cards'?
