I've been doing a lot of research on PDa's because I'm planning to purchase one soon. I found out tthat my best choice would have to be the Rx3115 from HP..it fits my budget and my needs. But I have only one concern. It has an expansion slot, and Id like to put in a 1GB card. This is enough to store a feature film, but my concern was if the machine is powerful enough to play a full movie without having to buffer or jump. If anyone has an answer please help me out. Thanks.
I have an rx3115, and iv encoded many movies to WMA at 300kbps, which is good quality video, just the sound isnt so great, but other than that, they play fine, so do mpegs. and thats off the sd card, this ppc is more than powerful enough for mpeg movies and wmv movies. its a great little device, you wont be sorry if you get it, plus the wifi is great for internet and sending files.

It depends what quality you need. If you need top quality you will have to go for something else like a dell axim x50v. This PDA should be ok for watching a movie as long as it is encoded properly, at a low resolution that is.
