It is possible to reproduce the more vivid color by Adobe RGB because this can obtain more color space than sRGB. At processing image and editing the degree of freedom of Adobe RGB is high. However some colors cannot be reproduced on monitor of PC, and sometimes the images look almost same as those recorded by sRGB. Some cases you can obtain the effects when printing as some colors can be reproduced by printer though the colors which are impossible to reproduce on monitor of PC.

Why the pictures are not showing up on facebook

There is a size limit in pixel and a size limit on mbs, also make sure that the photo is RGB and not CMYK as this setting is for print. Downsize photos to 2mb max and it should take them, also keep them at 72 to 105dpi and RGB.

The color is not coming out bright when using adobe illustrator software. but when i'm using the canon software, it came out nicely. any idea about that?

Many times its set to CMYK by default even though you have a RGB printer. Make sure the document color is set to RGB and not CMYK.btthr.jpg

I have a Samsung CLP-315 laser color printer. I'm trying to find out if there's a *.icc or *.icm color profile for it to use with Adobe Photoshop. Couldn't find anything yet via google or others. Would you...

I have just purchased a CLP 325 and have set it up to get excellent colour pictures using Adobe Photoshop and the icc profiles readily available.
Your current working icc profile could be either Adobe RGB (1998), sRGB, Profoto or another. I would suggest that for everyday work use sRGB, if you are a specialist use Adobe RGB (1998).
Firstly make these changes in Photoshop:
Edit / Assign Profile / ColourMatch RGB.
To print:
File / Print / printer profile should be Adobe RGB (1998)

My Canon 50d is set to sRGB. However, when I upload the pics to my computer, my color profile is blank. Then when I import them into PS4, it says they are adobe RGB. Any suggestions?

Your images are still sRGB. When uploaded to computer, the EXIF data is not captured or the software on your computer (eg, Windows Explorer) is simply not showing it. I suspect that when imported into PS4, the colours are converted to Adobe RGB colour space by PS4.

Nikon D80 Prints

Have you had the picture printed at a local photo lab. Try that and see if it's your computer/printer matching.

You may have to see if the Camera is set for Adobe RGB (or RGB) and your computer/printer is set for Adobe RGB or sRGB. These need to match. There's a new world with color matching that the point and shoot don't do.

Hope this helps. I could regurgitate all about Color Matching, but why when someone else has it all written out.

What are the effects of Adobe RGB?

Adobe RGB enables more vivid color reproduction, for Adobe RGB is capable of more color space than sRGB. It offers more flexibility than sRGB on image processing and image retouching. Please note, however, a normal PC monitor cannot realize the color reproduction effect, for the available color range of the monitor is restricted by its specification. Further, an image with Adobe RGB ICC profile may be reproduced in poor color depth unless color management is provided in advance. Meanwhile, there may be cases that the Adobe RGB effect is realized in printing out, as some colors can be reproduced by a printer.
