    yea i have the same problem i have it connected to the computer and its charging the phone off my laptop but the laptop doesnt recognize the phone as a drive

    i don't have the disk for the camera phone , and i almost found the place to download it. and i lost connection . now i'm here, i will keep looking.

I was able to browse my phone and it's contents using my computer's bluetooth!...try that!  thanks to "sexy-ym"...

I can't remember my security unlock code on my old boost mobile motorola w385. it's been a while since i turned it on and i have my pictures locked and don't want to try to many times so the phone locks.
Try 000000 after you press menu on the lock screen to go to security code screen.

How to download pictures
Well, what I WAS doing was using the Motorola Phone Tools with a ' USB cable to phone adapter' and could transfer like crazy back & forth..Works well.. but now, I dont know why..? My W385 can no longer be installed onto Motorola Phone Tools to get recognized.. It registers that its a phone waiting to download.. starts the find process, then Motorola Phone Tools shuts down??
and i can no longer use my phone to computer, like Ive been doing..
Something screwy going on now.. and I dont know what. I'm thinkinkg its just with me.. or others suddenly having a MPT problem with W385?

Want to download picture from my W385 cell phone to my pc
try a program called bitpim. You will need a usb cable for your phone. If you phone has a microsd slot, chances are your photos you can store your photos directly to it and then remove the microsd card and put it in a sd card reader.

Motorola w385 turns off on its own
check the memory on your phone. if your screen turns white and than automatically shuts off. sounds like you may not have enough memory available to open your pictures. go to menu than my content>options>check memory. this should tell you how much memory you have available. if you are zero memory available, you may have to contact motorola or your carrier to reset your phone, which you will lose all your contact information and photos. good luck!!

perhaps you can try going to your media mail> sent messages and see if you can do it there. if not try going to mediamail.boostmobile.com and select inbox and delete it there.

You need to install the motorola drivers. Do so by either going to www.motox.info go to downloads section and install the . Or you can even download Motorola Mobile Phone tools. If you dont use mobile phone tools, make sure you go to connections, and check the mass storage device as the connection method. If you need further assistance, just check my profile.
