Question about Precor EFX 546i Elliptical Version 4

My new precore has a squeaky noise when i an on it what can i do to get rid of it. can i use wd40 on the wheels?

No please do not. If the wheels are noisy, they need to be replaced. If something else is noisy, it needs to be addressed - spraying things with lube rarely fixes anything, and can cause more damage.

How to fix a squeaky dishwasher door

You may need to slide the dishwasher out slightly. On both sides at the floor level are the door springs, pulley, and cables. The cable is usually attached to the door hinge--then goes around the pulley wheel and goes back to the spring system. Most noise comes from the hinge pivot point or the pulley axle. You can spray all those parts with something like WD40 or if you don't like that smell try a silicone spray. Do both sides and work the door up and down.

Got squeaky brakes, hey. Or is it chirping? Squeaky brakes are fairly common on vehicles that have all four wheels that are disk. Now, chirping is a different story, it could mean that you will need new disk pads and possible have the rotators turns and if the can't turn the rotators then they need to be replaced. try to dismantle shaft and use clothe to wipe out the grease then apply WD40 if the problem persist try to replace your bearing or the bushing a new one possible wear and tear of it cause the noise.

Squeaky noise when running

Hi.

possible cause is the belt tensioning jockey wheels. They become covered in dust after a while and the bearing can dry out.

Sometimes by squirting WD40 on the wheels can solve the problem.

I have a 2002 Escape V6. I had a squeak when turning... even when standing still. It was fairly low mileage: 40,000 miles?
It was the outer tie rod. You could feel it squeak in your hand while someone else turned the steering wheel.
I disconnected the tie rod. I wasn't worn, just squeaky. I squirted a little WD40 inside the boot, and worked it in. Reassembled and squeak gone.
I bought a replacement tie rod, but never had to put it on. I'm now at 110,000 miles.

Squeaky steering wheel

check and lube the nylon bearing in the rubber boot at the bottom of the steering cloumn inside the car. Use WD40 or thicker silicone lube

Hi, We have a pram ora duoletto which had the same problem we brought wd40 from robert dyers and it worked a treat it fixes any squeeks. It costs about £3.75 but will last an age. We sprayed our wheels a month ago and there have been no more squeeks since.
