Erasing frames I can not erase all of the frames. why?

The frame might be protected, so just Remove the frame protection.

Olympus DS-30 recorder: memory is full but there are no files to delete
1.Press the FOLDER button to choose a folder.
 Every time the FOLDER button is pressed, it cycles through folders and the List display will appear (+P20).

2 Press the + or – button to choose the file you want to erase.

3 Press the ERASE button. The “Cancel” indicator flashes.

4 Press the + button to choose “Erase”.

5 Press the OK button. The display changes to “File Erase!” and erasing will start. “Erase Done” is displayed when the file is erased. File numbers will be reassigned automatically

Akai GX-77 isn't erasing the old music on a new recording. Can hear the old music on the new recording. Please help. Thanks
Akai or Sony- just problem with erasing head. Usually erasing head looks like black and smoller near reading head. Can be problem deeper inside 'Tape Decks'- wire, no signal to the head and etc.

Once a frame is erased is it gone forever even though there is a frame #?
That depends on where it was. If it was on a memory card instead of the camera's internal memory and if you haven't done anything else to the card since erasing the frame, you MIGHT be able to recover it. It's just like any other erased file on any other hard drive.

Do a Google search for "data recovery software" and select a program for your computer and operating system. Take the memory card out of the camera and put it into a card reader attached to your computer. Cross your fingers and run the program.

Erasing selected file

You can delete a file by the following steps:
1. Select folder (A, B, C , D or )
2. Select file.
3. Press ERASE once and DELETE will blink on the screen.
4. Press and hold ERASE for 3 seconds to confirm deleting. (or press STOP to cancel erasing file)

Erasing all files in a folder

You can delete all files in a specific folder by the following steps:
1. Turn on the unit.
2. Select a folder (A, B, C , D or ).
3. In Stop mode, press FORWARD continuously until "ALL" appears on the display.
4. Press ERASE and "DELETE" will blink on the display.
5. Press and hold ERASE for about 3 seconds, all files in the selected folder will be erased completely (or press STOP to cancel erasing all files).

Tip: File numbers that come after erased one will be moved forward by one automatically.

Hello you can erase the recorded messages one by one or all massages in folder at time

Note once a recording has been erased, you cannot retrieve it.

Erasing messages one by one

1 Press ERASE while playing back the massage you want to erase or press ERASE for more than 1 second during stop mode.

A beep will sound and the message number and "ERASE" will flash while the first and last 5 seconds of message is played back 10 times

2 Press ERASE while the message is being played back.

The message is erase and the remaining messages will be renumbered. (For example, if you erase Message 3. When erasing is completed, the unit will stop at beginning of the following message.)

Erasing all messages in a folder

1 Press FOLDER to select the folder you want to erase.

2 While pressing STOP, press ERASE for more than 1 second.

"ALL ERASE" will flash for 10 seconds

While the display is flashing, press ERASE.

Erasing the memory card;
All pictures in the internal memory and/or on the memory card can be erased at once. This is accomplished through either formatting or the "all-frame erase" function. I copied the following instructions from the advanced manual, which can be downloaded here: http://www.olympusamerica.com/files/d545zadvman.pdf. Adobe reader should open that file with no problem. If it doesn't, that's another issue altogether.

1. Enter playback mode by pressing the play button.
2. Press the OK MENU button.
3. Press the right arrow button (next to the lightning bolt) to access [MODE MENU]
4. Then, press the down arrow to access the [MEMORY(CARD)] tab.
5. Select the [ALL ERASE] function.
6. Select Yes and press OK MENU.

(You'll need to use the arrow buttons to navigate the menus. Please see pg 16 of the manual for instructions on how to do so.)

Note: when the memory card is in the camera, it will erase the pictures off the card. When the card is removed, the function above will erase the internal memory.

Erasing DVD+RW
HDMI refers to High Definition Multiple Interface. I is a cord made to carry both High Def audio as well as video. Erasing the dvd can be done by a computer software, typically Nero, but I would suggest contacting Customer service to find out if the recorder is capabale of erasing RW media.

Why does the night vision lighting not work on my Cobra RXCamView? I have 2 cameras paired to my IPhone. Pixpro AZ528 brand new doesn't turn on Yesterday I bought a Kodak Pixpro AZ528, got it home put together, and it wouldn't turn on. When plugged into the wall the screen said battery 100%. The charging indicator then went off. Unplugged from wall, still wouldn't turn on. Returned and got a different of the same camera, and it's doing the exact same thing. I've tried resetting while plugged into the charger, holding power button 20 seconds (as suggested somewhere else) to no avail. Seems weird that two of the same brand new cameras wouldn't work. Any suggestions?
