Hello there,

The problem is that, the flexi ribbon that connects the screen to the main board of the phone is loose, all you need to do is disassemble the phone and try to secure the connection on the board tightly.

Once the flex cable is properly secured, it will work perfectly fine.

Hope this was helpful.

The display being white can be due to failure of the LCD.So to confirm remove battery and reset. It can also be a fault on the linking cable or the control board.

Remove the battery and keep the phone aside to reset and try as a last resort. If not the LCD display could be faulty. Get estimate before you decide. It will be good to have it checked at the authorised service as you do not have to run around for spares.

Replaced screen on ipod and now touchscreen wont work

Because this is a fused part (lcd and digitizer) you will have to buy a new screen assembly. BUT before you do that open the the iPod back up and verify that both connectors are properly seated.

If it all looks okay and still does not work then you probably bought a bad screen.

Why doesn't the touch screen work on my ipod touch 4th generation?

By reset you mean holding the home and power button down? If so, it sure sounds like it is the digitizer. If you are thinking about replacing it yourself, I would consider doing some research because these aren't fun to fix or easy. The screens never seem to sit right. In most cases, the LCD and digitizer come together as one piece. Pricing starts around 30 dollars. Also, check to see if there are any recalls because apple would replace it for free. If you need any further assistance, feel free to ask!

Ipod touch 4g loud speaker replace

The loudspeaker is located in the bottom left hand side of the ipod. You have to remove the screen to access it, unfortunately most times you try to remove screen (unless you are experienced, and have proper tools) you end up breaking the screen. The speaker is connected to main board with a red and a black wire, you must un solder these connections and solder the new speaker into place. The speaker, however, is stuck down quiet firmly to the housing. Carefull when you remove it not to damage main board.

My ipod touch [4th generation] screen is stuck on the usb cord pointing toward the itunes logo

The solution is: 1. Turn of your iPod. 2. While holding down the 'Home' button, connect to iTunes WARNING: Doing this will return your iPod back to original 'out of the box' settings and you will lose everything. On the bright side, you get a 'fresh' start and it will auto update to the most recent software version.

Apple ipod Changed the lcd screen now have a white screen

Either:-

1) You have not fitted the replacement screen properly

2) Something else has gone wrong - i.e. logic board

3) The screen is faulty.

Personally, I'd suggest removing and re-installing the screen.
