The resolution on this was to check the surge protector the television was plugged into. Once we unplugged and plugged into another surge protector, the screen went back to normal and the appearance was great. We believe this was due to one of the resistors within the surge protector may have become faulty.

Usually the LCD panel cost is around 80% of total TV price. Look for it in a center of service.

You may ahev failing T-CON board, try having a small fan blowing at the vent on the back of the TV. If you can post pictures it will help a lot.

hd-ready tv's only support max 1080i and not 1080p. The default
setting on the Xbox is 1080p, that's why you get that message. There
is a way to fix this, just follow the steps below:
Connect
TV and X box via HDMI cable with units switched off.
Switch
both units on.
Press
the right arrow 7 times (Left top jog knob on game controller)
Press
"A" button 4 times (Green button)
Press
"up" arrow once to set to 1080i
Press
"up" arrow once again to set to 720p.
Press
"A" to store setting
