No, Minolta cannot guarantee compatibility of the DiMAGE 7 with a third party USB cable. The USB-1000 Cable supplied with the camera should be used exclusively.

Plug usb cord into computer and camera pressed left arrow on camera to turn on. it is not saving pics on computer why?
Camera is just a glorified usb, files should transfer when you tell computer to get them.

I have to charge my digital camera by the usb port but it will not charge at all why?
The S570 doesn't have any charging circuitry. Connecting it to a computer's USB port drains the battery faster, since the camera has to communicate with the computer (even if it's only to say it's got nothing to say). The battery MUST be charged outside the camera, using the supplied MH-63 charger.

To connect that device to your computer make sure that your camcorder had a fire wire or usb cable. If your camcorder has no capacity to connect using those cable all you have to do is to get the third party hardware device such as capture card which has the audio video cable to connect to it then from that device that can connect to your computer using usb cable.

Its not recommended to charge the Reader using any third party battery charger. Its alweays recommended to use the AC-S5220E AC Adaptor or the supplied USB cable to charge the Reader. If you use any third party Battery charger the Reader may be damaged. Please dont use those things. All the Best!

How do I download a LG-UX310 cell phone picture to a computer using the USB cable which I bought? I already installed the driver software which was provided.
I couldn't get it done with the USB cable. I spoke to LG, and US Cellular, and they had no ideas. This is what I finally did that works, and it does them all at once, instead of sending them one at a time to your online album/email. Get a bluetooth dongle (Ebay for a couple of bucks). Plug it in (It will automatically load drivers). Download "BFT" (Bluetooth File Transfer), which is free. They just ask for donations if you like it. Connect the phone via bluetooth to the pc. It took me all of three minutes to transfer all photos and audios from three different phones to the computer. It's really simple to do, once you find the right software. Richard, To do that you must install the Nokia PC Suite to your Mac and then connect the phone thru a USB cable or BT. Once connected you can backup the data, use it as a modem to connect to the net, xfer files to and fro., install third party progs etc etc.
