Install Language Pack in Windows 7 Ultimate

1. Start -> All Programs --> Windows Update --> Optional Updates.
2. Open optional Updates and go to the section Windows 7 Language Packs.
3. Tick the Language Pack you want and hit OK
4. Proceed with Install Updates

How to change the Windows 7 Display Language:

1. Go to Start -> Control Panel -> Clock, Language, and Region / Change the display language
2. Switch the display language in the Choose a display language dropdown menu.
3. Click OK
4. Log off for the changes to take effect (This will affect only the user profile under which you are currently logged on).

For any drivers not automatically installed with Windows 7 running Windows Update should detect most all of them. You should make sure to select all updates, including optional updates (not the language packs). The optional updates may include hardware updates which will ensure your hardware is using the best and most current software possible. If this does not detect everything, I would recommend going to the toshiba support website and downloading the remainder of the drivers from there. You should also make sure your laptop is compatible with Windows 7 by checking out Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor.

It works fine on XP, I am using it with XP SP3 currently. You should download the current driver from Minolta. Install the software before hooking up the scanner. I prefer to remove any existing drivers and re-boot before installing new drivers.

If customers do not feel comfortable upgrading the DiMAGE 7 firmware themselves, they can send the camera in to the NJ repair facility with a note stating "Please Upgrade Firmware". Their camera will be upgraded, and they will be charged $49.95 (plus tax and shipping). They will receive back their upgraded camera, and a DiMAGE Viewer Ver 1.2 Upgrade CD-Rom*. (They will not receive the firmware upgrade on CD-Rom or the new DiMAGE Viewer) There is a 2-3 week turn around time once payment has been authorized. * images captured with an upgraded camera cannot be opened using previous versions of the DiMAGE Image Viewer Utility 1.11 or earlier. A PC or Macintosh with a CD-ROM drive and the DiMAGE 7 interface kit are required. If you do not have the Dimage 7 interface kit, a CF card reader/writer can be used for updating.

This is not a problem. In order to achieve faster AF operation, the live image on the LCD is not refreshed during focusing. During flex focus point, the live image on LCD never stops. If you feel anxious about the live image stoping, we recommend you to use flex focus point.
