The drain in the freezer behind back lower panel
needs opening. You can see it at the bottom of the back panel
underneath the evaporator coils. (The cold coils)
Run Hot water in the drain until it clears or use a hairdryer.
When the defrost melts the water it goes down the drain
If the drain is clogged with Ice or ? it overflows into the ref. or freezer
Run Hot water in the drain until it clears or use a hairdryer.
Also check fan undernearh Ref in the rear
Clean condenser coils underneath

Hi, thanks for your response. When you refer to the drain do you mean the white / clear pipe which comes out from the underside of the freezer and discharges into a white plastic tray? (I have removed the lower black panel cover from the backside of the fridge / freezer). Do I defrost the drain pipe from the outside or inside (i.e. point the heat towards the lower backside of the freezer section). I also noticed the the 'thick' wire loop (Part Number 0628) was flowing orange / red (looked very hot), is this normal?
