Headset symbol stays on screen on LG Arena KM900 causing me to have no sound, happened after plugging in to an external speaker dock now phone thinks there is a headset permanently in so no sound and no sound during calls. Factory reset doesn't work, removing the battery didn`t work, nor is it a ringer problem.

If the calling key of an LG KM900 Arena Cell Phone is not working the only remedies for this is by opening the housing and cleaning the keypad connector of the calling key . The problem maybe caused by dirt and moisture.

There is a little rectangle shape thing next to the lg logo on the top of the fone screen. If this is blocked by screen protector it will cause the phone to blank of during calls. Its a power saver that blanks the phone when its near your face. Try it. Take off the screen protector & make a call. Then place your finger over the little thing & the screen goes blank. Just cut a lil space in the screen protector & that will fix the problem

Hi,this speaker ribbon can be fixed by any qualified mobile phone technician around you,but please don't try doing it yourself because this particular phone in question is a very delicate phone that requires extra care

Try removing the battery and putting it back. It worked for me.

Try transferring all the music files to the external memory, don't store them in handset.
It worked for me, so try it. N btw, don't use bluetooth.

Normally caused by trying to put 24 hour times into a 12 hour clock or US date format into a European or vice versa

you can use the software on the cd lg suite or better plug the usb cable into the phone, select mass storage and use your phone as an usb stick. hope you'll manage ;if not post again
