Password forgotten Hi, My friend has a problem. He set the password to his PDA and forgot it and has no way of recovering it. Is there any way i can reset the password hardware wise or any other recommended way? Thnx in adv.

    I have the same problem, but i just don't know where the soft rest button, which is where you stick the stick in, and do i press all four buttons in the front of the phone together?

To do a hard reset:
1
Press the Power button to turn the Axim unit On.
2
Press and hold the Power button down while using the Axim stylus to
press the Reset button at the same time.

Release the Power button and the Reset button.
TheTo clear all data in the memory screen appears.

Press the Contacts button on the Axim to delete all of the data in the
memory of the Axim handheld.
5
Press the Mailbutton on the Axim to cancel the operation without
losing data.

To reset passwords hold the calender button and the home button and at the same time press the rseset button

Hi There is no way to recover from a forgotten password using the standard MS password security. "Your friend" must reset the the device - a Hard reset normally requires you push the buttons on the front while pushing the stick in the soft rest button and holding until the screen goes blank.

Try the forgot password link on the yahoo page it should send you a code to reset your password. If you don't have an alternate e-mail it may just be better to create a new one.
