That all depends on the model of your laptop, most current laptops have a slot for a standard sd card, if this is the case you will need a micro sd adapter.

I have a new HP computer with Windows 7. Someone - pny%204gb%20microsdhc%20with%20sd%20adapter.jpg
if you dont have a port for an sd card you have 2 options, first you can buy a usb memory card reader (making sure it takes micro sd cards before you purchase) or, most mobile phones take the micro sd card so you can put it in your phone and either plug it into your laptop using a usb cable and try getting them that way, or if you can view the photos on your phone, bluetooth/email them across.

I forgot the password on my pny memory card and i cant open it.can you help me to solve this one?

If the data on the card is not important, try putting the memory card in a reader, using Windows Explorer, look for a text file with the password. Look for mmcstore (no extension). Rename the file to a file that has .txt for an extension and open it in notepad.
Otherwise, reformat the card to use it without a password.

If the answer I gave you works, please accept it.

I LOST MY CD TO DOWNLOAD FOR MY MEMORY CARD SO I CAN TAKE THE PHOTOS OFF THE CARD

You can get a card reader which plugs into your computer. Plug the card into the card reader, connect the reader to your computer and it will appear as a drive in windows explorer. You can drag the photos to where you want them.

I have a 4 gb pny micro sd stick for my phone but when i put it into my computer it says that there is 0 out of 0 megabytes free. I have windows seven and i dont understand why its not working

Either the SD card or the reader is not Windows 7 compatibile. I suggest updating the drivers on both, this can be done simply by using google and search via the brand + driver. Good luck

I do not know how to transfer my pictures to my flash drive My pictures are all still on my computer on the HP Photosmart Esstestisl program and I can not download it to my USB flashdrive.

Take a picture and save it with a name you can remember, using your HP program. Then search for that file name; all your photos should be in the same HP location. Once you know that location, you can then drag and drop to your flash drive. (CTRL + A = all selections)

Hope this helps.

Is your memory card is recognize by windows or you didn't see it on windows explorer!
if you dont see it on explorer it could be solve by a service pack!
and if you see it on windows explorer but can't copy anything the card may be locked with the little tab on the side of the card!!

How do I save to a memory stick. such as photos from my computer.

When you put the stick into the computer, you will see a new drive appear under My Computer (or computer, depending on wether you have XP or Vista), and when you save or move a file, open the new drive and save to that location. If you have any questions, let me know!

How do I download pictures from photo gallery in windows vista to a memory stick

First, you need to connect the memory stick into the computer. Make sure that the computer could detect it.

Next, open the "Computer" icon on your Desktop and see what is the drive letter assigned to the memory stick (i.e. E: F: G:).

Then go to the photo gallery, right-click the picture > Send To > select the drive letter.

The picture should be transferred to the memory stick after that.

ANOTHER WAY:

1. Double-click the drive letter that's assigned to the memory stick and a window should come up.

2. Go to the photo gallery > right-click the picture > copy

3. Open the window for the memory > right-click the window > paste.

The picture should be transferred.

ANOTHER WAY:

Just simply drag and drop the pictures to the memory window.

Getting music onto my pny micro sd 2gb

You should just have to locate it in "my computer" open it up and drag and drop music files onto it. or just burn them on to it. e.g windows media player. if it wont let you. make sure its not locked by checking the switch on the side. Also ask your friend if he set a pin/password for this micro sd.
