Use windows xp sp1, windows media player 9. plug device. wait for mtp display. reboot pc. un plug device then plug it again. upgrade media player to 10. that's it! enjoy!

I have Creative Nomad Jukebox Zen Xtra 60GB.
I changed harddisc. "firmware problem"

Zen Xtra 40 GB

Ok this is what I have found.....Try to run the Recovery Mode here is a link to Creative Labs website that will walk you through it... Just look for Jukebox its on the bottom...you can get the firmware from the same website under support and then just select the type of jukebox you have....that will be the second link...You will need to click on Zen and then look on the right side for Archived Products

Nomad jukebox 40GB

Have you tried pushing the reset button on the side as you power it up?

It's possible that you need to replace the hard drive or reload the firmware. Or both.
