I got the same issue as above. You just need to register the base again by the step below:

1. Press the button on your base (like a speaker icon) without release it until you hear beep sound.
2. Press 'OK' to enter the MENU on your handset
3. Go to REGISTER
4. Then go to REG BASE
5. Press '1'. The screen will now showing SEARCHING BASE1
6. Wait a while then it will back to normal.
7. Put back your handset to the base and now the screen should show HANDSET 1.

Your cordless phone shall be ready to be used as normal again.

Sorry that I missed out the pin . The pin shall be '0000' after the reg base button has been hit.

I am trying to replace a handeset on my E5640 answering system. I have followed the procedures to deregister the existing handsets but it will not accept the base code for the last one. The handset I am...

  • Your telephone can accommodate up to four cordless handsets. You can add new handsets (Model E560-2, sold separately) at any time, but each must be registered with the base before use.
  • The handset provided with your telephone is automatically registered as Handset 1.
  • Additional handsets will be assigned numbers in the order they are registered (2, 3 or 4). You can register a maximum of four handsets.
To de-register all handsets
• Unplug the power supply from the base unit.
• Remove all handsets from the charge cradles and base.
• Plug in the power supply while pressing and holding the HANDSET LOCATOR button.
• Continue pressing HANDSET LOCATOR until the IN USE and CHARGING indicators are lit (this could take up to 10 seconds).
• Release the HANDSET LOCATOR button.
• All handsets will display: ENTER BASE ID: XXXXXXXXXX
Once the base indicators turn off (up to 30 seconds), the handsets have been de-registered from the base, and can now be re-registered.

To re-register a handset:
• Make sure your handset batteries are properly installed and charged.
• Your handset will display "ENTER BASE ID".
• Enter the 15-digit Base ID number from the bottom of the base unit.
• Press SELECT to accept the new code and complete re-registration.

To re-register a handset to a new base unit:
• Make sure your handset batteries are properly installed and charged.
• Unplug the old base unit. Your handset will display "SEARCHING...".
• Install the new base unit by plugging it into an electrical outlet and phone jack.
• Press and hold the SELECT key until the handset displays "ENTER BASE ID".
• Enter the new 15-digit Base ID number from the bottom of the new base unit.
• Press SELECT to accept the new code and complete re-registration. The handset is now registered to the new base.

My motorola d10 phones will not register to the base.. i have two units and i wanted to use the intercom feature but cannot get either unit to show any signs of registering to the base.

Hi, I may be late at posting a reply but I had the same problem and I'm an IT Practitioner - So Motorola don't seem to like making things easy or even giving instructions - I tired out Google and eventually came across the result myself:

1. Go To Advance Settings
2. Then Go To Registration
3. Then Go To Search Base
4. And Keep Hold Of The Page Button On The Main Unit
( You May Have To Do This Several Times)
5. The Screen A Should Display PIN
6. Enter The PIN Which Is 0000 (Unless Changed)
7. REGISTRATION COMPLETE!!!!

Also I had problems with the intercom feature - when I attempted to intercom another handset - It wouldn't ring but this was fixed by turning the room monitor (Baby Monitor) off.

I want to change my TH6110D1013 honeywell thermostat to celsius . how do i do it?

You need to go into the setup mode to change it. Push and hold the i button along with the increase and decrease buttons. All the segments on the display will appear for about three seconds, then setup number will appear to the left and factory setting to the right. Change the setup number by pressing the (i) button until you get to 14. This is the degree temp. display, factory setting is 00. Use the arrow up key to change to 01 (celsius). To exit setup, push and hold the(i) key until the display returns to normal.

UltraRacer playstation 2 controller programming

Here's the instructions on how to relocate buttons:

1. To assign one button (i.e. "R") to perform another buttom function (i.e.
"Z"): Press and hold the SET button for about 1 second to enter the
"FUNCTION SETUP MODE", the FUNCTION SETUP LED will illuminate and two beeps
will be heard.

2. Press the button (i.e. "R") you would like to reassign one time, the
FUNCTION SETUP LED will blink once and a single beep will be heard.

3. Press the new, desired function (i.e. "Z") one tim, the NORMAL LED
indicator will illuminate instead of the FUNCTION SETUP LED. Two beeps will
be heard. The setting process is now complete.

The UltraRacer will only return to its default setting when the buttons "A",
"L", and "R" are pressed at the same time BEFORE you turn on the console's
power. After about two seconds, the UltraRacer will generate three beeps to
acknowledge reset button configuration is set. To reset a particular button,
first press the SET button, then press the relocated button twice and then
press the SET button once more until the LED light goes off. THe button's
original function is used as a default button for further relocation.

These instructions were told to me bay a company selling these controls on AMAZON. I have been trying to reprogram mine and cant figure out where the "R" button is.
