My Fun! Flash 640 does not power on. What's wrong?

Check to see that the On/Off switch is in the On position. Check to see that the green power light on the back of the camera is lit. If it is not lit, make sure that the batteries are loaded properly. If necessary, insert fresh batteries and try again.

Can I use the Fun! Flash 640 with a USB port?

A 9-pin serial connection must be available on your computer to connect a PhotoMAX Fun! Flash 640 digital camera. This camera model does not have a USB driver, so a USB-to-serial adapter will not function properly.

Resolution ?

When you turn on the Fun Flash! camera, the default resolution is 640 x 480, as indicated by the two stars displayed on the LCD panel. To change the resolution to 320 x 240, you need to turn the camera off and then press and hold the self-timer button while turning the camera back on. Release the self-timer button and the camera will be in the lower resolution mode (indicated by the single star on the LCD). Remember, the next time you turn on your Fun Flash! camera it will default back to the 640 x 480 setting.
