Be close to your console when synching your controllers. As always make sure the controller is on.
You will need to press both the synch button on the console and on the controller approximately the same time. If you have done this correctly. The controllers should have synched to the console in a few seconds.
Here is a link to show you how to do it for the Xbox 360.
Also just in case the light is flashing the and the controller is already synched, that means the battery is low and you need to change it out for new batteries.
It's possible the xbox 360 controller isn't connected to the xbox 360. Turn the xbox 360 on by pressing the power button, and wait until it reaches the dash board. Then press the controller syncing button on the xbox 360 itself and wait until the xbox 360's ring lights start to spin around. Then press and hold the synch button on the controller (located near the charge port) and the controller should synch up with the xbox 360.
To begin, turn on your xbox 360. On the top of the wireless controller, to the right of the LB button there is a small white button. Hold this, and the lights near the xbox button will spin in a circle. On the front of your xbox 360, there is a button to right of the memory card slot. Press this button and the lights on the front of the xbox will spin. After a few seconds, the controller should synch with the xbox. If this does not work, make sure that the lights are spinning in circles at the same time.
If your controller is just blinking you must press the small button on your xbox and at the same time press the small button on the back of your xbox controller and the xbox will pick controller signal.
If the control is blinks in sequence with the four LED light on the XBox 360 but it does not change to only one LED, being the one that corresponds to which player the control is, you need to remove the batteries from the control then disconnect power from your XBox 360. Wait a few minutes before reconnecting power to either then attempt to sync the control again. This resolves most issues.
There should be a sync button right on the top of the back of the Xbox 360 controller. While the system is on. Power on the controller. Hold down the sync button on the controller, and then press and hold the sync button on the Xbox 360 console. Wait for a few seconds until the Xbox 360 controller lights stop blinking. Then test out the controller. Any comments of questions, post them by clicking on the add more details link inside of this question that you've asked.
